MVJ College of Education, Bangalore, is a teacher training college that started in the year of 1980, and is situated in Marathahalli, Bangalore. This is a co-educational institute having its ownuniversity affiliation as well as having approval from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which makes it provide quality education in the teaching profession. The college is affiliated with Begaluru North University.  Located in a 1-acre campus, the college has a strength of 77 students and 15 competent faculties. MVJ College of Education has one programme to offer, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and this programme seeks to produce professional teachers in the future.

MVJ College of Education provides several amenities intended at improving the learning environment of its students. These include a library with over 6,605 books and 21 journals, periodicals, and magazines for the students to improve their learning process. The institution also has a fairly implemented computer laboratory with 20 computers, software and other technology requirements for students as well as the members of faculty and staff. At present, MVJ College of Education offers one full-time course. This is the Bachelor of Education commonly referred to as the B.Ed programme. This programme produces professional teachers to address the shortage of teachers in schools within the first two years of practice, with an approved admission capacity of one hundred students per academic year. The B.Ed programme offered at MVJ College of Education consists of major areas and approaches to education, and student teachers are prepared to be competent educators to teach new generation learners.

The procedure for admission to MVJ College of Education bases its admission on merit to be designated in terms of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination, if any. The college implements the policy stated by the state government for Union Territory administration or any of the affiliated universities.
