Nagrik Shikshan Sanstha's College of Education was instituted in the year 1990 at Mumbai. The college is exclusively a teaching college. Being situated in the heart of the city of dreams-Mumbai, this affiliated college has been contributing towards the development of educational institutions for more than three decades now. This college is also accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and functions from a compact campus of 1.35 acres. A quality-focused college establishes impressive care regarding maintaining a desired student-faculty ratio. On these lines, Nagrik Shikshan Sanstha's College of Education has 6 experienced faculty members. Nagrik Shikshan Sanstha's College has extended a rich collection of facilities that brighten up the process of learning in students. This library can accommodate up to 60 readers and has in its shelves an impressive collection of 5,860 copies covering 3,735 titles and is a resource centre for those aspiring to become educators. Commitment towards technology is also reflected in the modem computer laboratory equipped with 25 computers inclusive of 3 multimedia systems connected to the internet. Sports facilities and a gymnasium are available for the college to strive for all-round development. Besides, an auditorium is there where events and seminars take place, which gives importance to the campus life. Health centre with first aid facilities exists for the well-being of every student in the institution. Other facilities such as a canteen, a parking area, and laboratories for various subjects add to a warm and enabling learning atmosphere. 

In the present day, the College of Education of Nagrik Shikshan Sanstha offers only one course that is concentrated - a two-year, full-time Bachelor of Education programme. This is a two-year, full-time course oriented toward preparing students to be successful classroom teachers. The B.Ed course in the institution has 100 approved seats and provides extensive training in educational theory and practice. Though the college has thus far only offered one degree programme, a focused approach to teaching ensures good thorough quality education about the whole ambit of teacher-training. Admission to the Nagrik Shikshan Sanstha's College of Education strictly follows the norms issued by the State Government, UT Administration, and the concerned university. 

Admission will be strictly on merit, and marks obtained in the qualification examination and/or entrance examination will also be taken into account. The college shall, in addition to this, adopt any other selection procedure which may be prevalent under its policies.
