Narasu's Sarathy Institute of Technology Salem is a recognised university. It was established in the year 2008 and accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade. The university offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the streams of Engineering and Architecture.

NSIT Salem BE courses include Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and others. The college offers ME courses in two specialisations.
