The Narasu's Sarathy Institute of Technology, Salem is a recognised university. It was established in the year 2008 and accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade. NSIT Salem is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. The university offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the stream of Engineering and Architecture.
