The Narasu's Sarathy Institute of Technology, Salem is a recognised university. It was established in the year 2008 and  accredited by NAAC with A++ grade.  The university offers various engineering courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. B.E/B.Tech courses are offered in various specialisations such as computer science engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology, and civil engineering. Whereas M.E./M.Tech courses are offered in two specialisations : computer science and engineering , and VLSI design. Candidates should appear for an entrance examination such as JEE Mains for B.E./B.Tech. Whereas GATE exam can help the candidates to get admission for M.E./M.Tech courses.
