Nathdwara Institute of Engineering and Technology, an affiliated college started in the year 2010 which is located in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. Situated in a sprawling 15 acre campus, NIET is AICTE approved institution. Even though it has only 6 courses is 2 of its degrees: B.Tech and Diploma, the institute specialises in engineering fields. NIET has been housing 52 faculty members, which makes an excellent environment for the students enrolled in the institute. This is because the institute is evident having several specializations in technical education such as Civil Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Electrical Engineering; and Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Nathdwara Institute of Engineering and Technology has separate facilities for boys and girls hostel, well furnished, well equipped with all modern amenities and adequate security arrangements round the clock. It provides a book facility and separate reading rooms for students and teachers. The campus also comprises a well-endowed food court with a sitting capacity of hundred thousand students for offering diets. Sport lovers are also provided different indoor and outdoor games campus facilities at NIET. The institute IT infrastructure provide students with modern technology to support their academic activities.

The institute has a combination of B.Tech courses and Diploma courses to total 6 courses being offered. All courses are on fully time basis which is suitable for students in search of overall engineering education. The B.Tech programmes take four years of study while the Diploma courses take three years of study respectively. The total intake as approved for all the courses of the university is 270, and this makes the university to offer students adequate chances of getting the engineered courses.

The admission procedure of NIET is in compliance to the State Government norms and RPET- Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test for Engineering, Architecture & Pharmacy. Admissions are conducted under three quotas: AQ (15% of total intake), SQ (70%, including SC/ST,OBC), and MNGT Q(15%). Admission to B.Tech programmes is accepted on the basis of RPET score, and Diploma programmes are admitted through centralized process by BTE, Rajasthan. Its academic calendar is synchronized with the states admission times which normally starts from July-August every year.
