The timetable for UG and PG courses was released in April 2024.

National College Trichy was established in the year 1919. It started as a Second Grade College that only offered Intermediate courses, but on June 11th, 1924, with the addition of undergraduate programs, it was quickly promoted to a First Grade College. The courses at National College Trichy provide young people with access to high-quality higher education, especially those from economically and socially underdeveloped rural areas of India, so they can overcome prejudice, oppression, and ignorance and prepare for a bright future.

NC Trichy placement cell grooms and hones the lives of the students in career planning. In 1978, National Evening College was founded to meet the growing needs of a new generation of students. Where the National College facilities can be availed by the students because of the unexpected changes in course content and curriculum design brought about by the IT revolution. The 'Evening College' was renamed as 'unaided programmes' beginning with the academic year 2005–2006, and they coexist with the aided programmes. National College admissions into undergraduate courses such as B.Sc, BBA, BCA, M.Sc and doctoral programmes are offered.

Continuing to respond to its social commitment and the national call for the opening of the portals of higher education to girls, the College introduced a co-education pattern in the academic year 2007 where the merit students can avail the benefits of National College Scholarships.

Master of Science in Geology is a 2 years’ postgraduate degree program which deals with the detailed study of the various layers of the earth, the tectonic plates and the history of the evolution of the surface of the earth. The course provides you with an advanced learning about the earth, its surface and the different layers underneath the surface. It also explains in detail about the formation and the evolution of earth over millions of years.

Eligibility for the Course:

Admission are through entrance tests. B.Sc in Geology or Geoscience. Graduates from related fields like Environmental Science or from one of the fields in natural sciences too can apply if having common subjects.
