NIELIT Agartala

National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) is an autonomous body of the Department of Information Technology (DIT), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Govt. of India inaugurated in 2009. NIELIT Agartala is affiliated to Tripura University and approved by AICTE.The NIELIT Agartala Centre is the 11th Centre of NIELIT (formerly DOEACC Society) in the country and the 5th in the North-Eastern Region.

NIELIT Agartala offers both formal and non-formal courses in different levels and streams of IECT. Candidates need to check the NIELIT Agartala eligibility criteria before appling for the NIELIT courses. Its goal is to provide the youth of Tripura with easy access to education and training in Computer Science and Information Technology. The NIELIT Agartala admission process for different courses varies depending on the eligibility criteria, entrance exam, merit list, and counselling. NIELIT Eligibility:

The students have to pass the papers in the first try and finish the courses in a limited number of attempts.
The parents of the students should not earn more than Rs.2.50 Lakh per year from all sources.
The students have to apply online through the student portal with these documents:
- Verified mobile number.
- Registered email address.
- A proof of SC/ST certificate from the competent authority.
- PwD certificate from the competent authority.
- Income certificate
