National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Agartala offers Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate courses. NIELIT offers both formal and non-formal courses. The NIELIT courses include Diploma in Engineering in Computer Science & Technology, Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Bachelor of Computer Application, M.Sc.(Information Technology).

The NIELIT Agartala admissions are offered in more than 22 centres. Before applying for NIELIT admissions, the candidate should appear for the NIELIT entrance examination for non-formal long-term courses. NIELIT Aagartala courses are based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination. For formal courses, admissions are based on the candidate’s academic merit. • Create a new account by using mail and contact number, by clicking ‘New User’ button.

• The candidate should upload the necessary documents & photograph.

• Fill out the application form online and pay the application fees.

• The category-wise main list (selected) and waiting list of the candidates on the basis of entrance exam for admission to UG programme will be displayed on the website and Notice Boards of the University only.

• The selected main and waiting list candidates are required to register on the day as notified along with the list of documents asked and by making payment, otherwise their claim shall be forfeited.

• Admission of the selected candidates will be confirmed upon the document verification and payment of the admission fees.
