The college has a library that is progressing as per the plans for development into an information hub. Currently, the library holds a varied collection of books, national and international journals, online journals, standards, electronic media such as CDs and DVDs, newspapers, periodicals, magazines, etc. The library holds around 3000 national and international books covering fields of interest relevant to the students and staff. Resources are mainly related to audiology, speech, language, voice, communication disorders, autism, education, psychology, disabilities and rehabilitation, fine-arts, computer science, and commerce. There is also a Children's library at NISH which shelves a wide range of magazines, short stories, comics, and other informative books.
The college has sports facilities for all students. At NISH, students are trained to take part in intramurals, inter-collegiate, state, national, and international competitions in athletics, football, cricket, shuttle badminton, basketball, table tennis, and chess. Participation in sports develops coordination, attention, ethics, and moral values.
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. NISH’s Information Technology Department provides technology platforms for use across the Campus.
