Nawab Shah Alam Khan College of Education, Vikarabad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The institution has a very big properly maintained playground, and at the same time number of students can play different games and matches. Students can play cricket, football, shuttle, and volleyball; our institute has provided an indoor games facility also, where the students can play chess, carom board and other indoor games. There is a separate Sort and Yoga – Hall of 72 Sq. Mr (6.1X5.8) with a yoga mat, charts, and video lessons facility by Computer so that experts from different corners of the country can give extension lecturers and guide the students. We have appointed qualified Yoga faculty who hold a PG-Diploma in Yoga Teaching from the reputed university of India.

The seminar hall has eight ceiling fans with multiple tube lights and electric connectivity with two and three-pin plugs. The seminar hall is fully furnished with desk cum chairs; thus, it can accommodate more than 150 students. The seminar has a projector with an HD sound system and a computer for the presentations. Besides the above facilities, the seminar hall is decorated with curtains and floor mats.

The institution has a well-equipped library room of 1004 Sqft, the college library has collections of a total of 5907 books which are titles and reference books, dictionaries in four languages (English, Telugu, Urdu, Arabic, and Hindi), issuing books, 16 volumes Encyclopedias of Britannica, Encyclopedias Islamic History and Culture, photocopy facility, printing facility, binding facility, reading facility with comfortable chair and desks with the capacity of 50 students comfortable sitting. Our college has eight educational journals with ISSN Numbers, at the same time the institution has books on different methods. Our library has the electronic searching of books by title of the book facility. The institution has installed a computer system to look at their library account details of issues and return of books. Besides books, the college has subscribed to flowing educational, language and literature, psychology, and Guidance social, economic,c and research journals.

The college has There are four laboratories namely Mathematics, Physical Science, and Bio-Science have allotted rooms of 75 Sq. Mr (12.2X6.1Sq.Mr) and Psychology laboratories and there are five Labs namely Social Studies Lab, Urdu Lab, English Lab, Telugu Lab, and Educational Technology Lab or Computer Lab. All the laboratories and Labs are well equipped for experiments and practice to develop various educational skills in the trainee teachers. In the laboratories, the trainees can conduct experiments in physical science, biological science, psychology, and mathematics on topics pedagogical sciences and school-related topics.

Nawab Shah Alam Khan College of Education has six classrooms with all basic facilities. The dimensions of the classrooms are Class Room No. Ground Floor (8x10=80 Sq.Mr), Class Room No: 2 Ground Floor (8x10=80 Sq.Mr), Class Room No: 3 Ground Floor (8x10=80 Sq.Mr), Class Room No: 4 Ground Floor (8x10=80 Sq.Mr), Room No: 5 First Floor (8x10=80 Sq.Mr), Room No: 6 First Floor (8x10=80 Sq.Mr). Thus, the total area of six classrooms is 480 Sq.Mr. Each classroom has three windows of 4.5x6 feet and two doors of 7x4 feet, one for entry and one for exit. All classrooms have green glass boards of 4x8 feet and all the classes have been given the option for projector screen space. There is a Ta teacher- stage in each classroom with a desk, chair, and podium. Each classroom has four ceiling fans with multiple tube lights and electric connectivity with two and three-pin plugs. All classrooms are fully furnished with desk cum chairs; thus, each classroom can accommodate 50 students.
