The Neelam college of education Mandi was established in the year 2010 which is one of the leading teacher training college in Himachal Pradesh (India). Located in the beautiful poiny of Zimzima this is a co-educational college that is recognized by the Himachal Pradesh University and is approved by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). The institute conducts a B.Ed course admitting 200 students in total and employs 15 faculty members only. Neelam College of Education is focused to develop future educators with effective teaching learning process and modern infrastructure to interrupt the education system.

The college contains a variety of characteristics which are intended to help improve the learning of the students of the college. These comforts include a modern furniture equipped library with a large number of books of general and educational interest and renewals of important magazines, journals and newspapers. The reading room is large to contain up to 100 students who prefer to read and conduct their research. This institution is primarily a teachers training college admitting only Full Time candidate for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program. It is a two-year programme and has an approved capacity of one hundred students which is further demonstrates that the institute is concerned about the quality of education it is offering and thus the ability to only take a limited number of students per cohort controls the number of students per class.
