Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) is a three year (six semesters) full-time degree program under Dibrugarh University. This program consists of theory and practice components, taught and learned through a combination of lectures, fieldwork and research projects.
The BSW program is designed to equip the students with sound theoretical knowledge about social work, social welfare and development concerns of the poor, and enable the students to develop skills and insights into working with people at the individual, group and community levels, and their representatives, and network with other groups and professionals working on similar issues.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
