    About New Royal College of Nursing, Bengaluru

    New Royal College of Nursing was set up in Bengaluru in the year 2004, it stand as a premier nursing educational centre of Karnataka, India. It is a 3 acres college that aims in offering quality education in the field of nursing and midwifery. The institute is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), and its programme is designed with a single degree of study. This is an added advantage because the college an average of 50 students at a time and is staffed with 15 competent faculty members, giving the student’s superior student teacher ratio.

    New Royal College of Nursing has a number of facilities dedicated to improving learning and personal development of the learners. The campus has functional laboratories to ensures hands on experience that is vital to nursing trainings. A large library contains a wide variety of references, text books and periodicals with students provided with a proper environment for study and learning, including a reading room. This college also offers accommodation and recreational activities; it has a very large sports playground comprising of open fields and indoor facilities.

    New Royal College of Nursing, Bengaluru, currently offers one full-time course: B.Sc Nursing. This is a under graduate programme that takes four years to complete and has an approved annual student intake of 50 students which shows that the institute always wanted to maintain small cohort sizes for learning purposes. The B.Sc Nursing is planned so as to make students fully acquainted with theoretical knowledge and practices required to be professional nurse.

    The New Royal College of Nursing offers admission on merit of the entrance examination conducted by the university or competent authority.
