Newton's Institute of Science and Technology is an erstwhile premier institute located in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, which was established in the year 2010. The institution has its sprawling campus in an area of 12.76 acres on the versatile range of engineering and technical programs. It is associated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education. With a total student enrolment of 1,404 and faculty of 111 persons, the NIST offers every opportunity for academia and personal growth.
NIST offers courses at various levels. The institute comprises of 11 courses offered under three different types of degrees: B.Tech, M.Tech, and Diploma. Admission procedure at Newton Institute of Science and Technology: Completely transparent and fair. It mainly offers entry to the B.Tech course under the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, more commonly referred to as AP EAMCET. This state-level entrance test mainly serves as a bridge for aspiring engineers in Andhra Pradesh. The institute considers Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering scores for its PG programs.
