The college's infrastructure is quite basic. The classrooms and other facilities are okay, but they are not modern or up-to-date. I feel that the library, while it has a decent number of books, could really use more current and relevant resources.
I completed my B.Com from Nilgiri College,, and I feel that the college has both good and not-so-good aspects, especially when it comes to the bcom course.the curriculum keeps on getting updated to make students ready for the industry work.
I noticed that placement opportunities are somewhat limited. While some students do manage to get jobs through campus placements, I feel that the college needs to put more effort into bringing in more companies with better job offers. If you’re relying on college placements, you might need to be proactive and look for internships or job opportunities on your own.
When it comes to value for money, Nilgiri College is affordable, which is a plus. However, I believe that the quality of education and facilities matches the low cost. You get a decent education here, but it doesn’t have the extra advantages that you might find in higher-ranking colleges. So, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, this might work for you.
The campus life at Nilgiri College is pretty simple and quiet. There are some activities and clubs, but I feel they aren’t very well-organized or diverse. If you prefer a calm and low-key environment, you might like it here, but if you’re looking for an active and lively campus life, this might not be the best fit for you.
