• Admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the academic year of 2023 are still open for which candidates can apply online through NCW admissions portal.

Nirmala College for Women, Coimbatore also known as NCW Coimbatore was established in the year 1948 by Franciscan Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. NCW courses consist of a total of 60 programmes in the disciplines of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Commerce, Sciences, Computer Application & Information Technology, and Management & Business Administration at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in the BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, MA, M.Com, M.Sc, M.Phil, and Ph.D degree courses. NCW Coimbatore admissions to the said courses are done based on the marks of the previous qualifying examinations obtained by the candidates followed by a round of counselling. According to the data provided by the NIRF, about 379 students were placed in the NCW placements drive 2022. 

Some of the top recruiters that participate in the NCW Coimbatore placements drive are Infosys, Amazon, Infotech, Quintessence, Cognizant, Hexaware and more. NCW college has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A++’ grade. Nirmala College for Women is also an affiliated college of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore (BU Coimbatore). NCW campus size is about 15.90 acres and the NCW Coimbatore infrastructure consists of its academic & administrative blocks, laboratories, library, hostels, and more available on the NCW Coimbatore campus.
