About NIT Polytechnic, Nagpur
NIT Polytechnic Nagpur was established by Shri Sai Shikshan Sanstha in 2009. NIT Polytechnic aims to provide technical education to the students and develop strong, employable diploma engineers. The college offers various programmes at the diploma level in the field of engineering and technology.
NIT Polytechnic Nagpur provides a diploma in various specialisations such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Admission to these programmes is based on merit level and is done through a centralised admission process. Students are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by the university. Students can take lateral entry on the basis of their HSC examination. In NIT Polytechnic Nagpur, 80% seats are allotted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) and the remaining 20% seats are allotted through the institutional quota.
NIT Polytechnic Nagpur is affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is the first NBA Accredited Private College in the Vidarbha Region. NIT Polytechnic Nagpur has a training and placement cell that ensures students meet the industry standards and provides them with placement opportunities.
NIT Polytechnic Nagpur has signed MOUs with various companies, such as John Deere India Pvt Ltd Pune, Cojag Smart Technologies Pvt Ltd Nagpur, Quess Corp Ltd, MACCIA, Sumogo InfoTech Pvt Ltd Nasik, and more. The college provides various facilities to the students, such as an auditorium, an aesthetically pleasing cafeteria, smart classrooms, a digital library, ports facilities, workshops, staff rooms, modern infrastructure, and more.
