The NKBR College of Pharmacy and Research Centre was established in the year 2005 and is one of the leading professional institutions in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The college is spread on a campus of 8.5 acres in affiliation with the university and deals with pharmaceutical education and research. The college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and the All India Council for Technical Education; it offers various pharmacy courses. The institute offers courses in three areas of specialisation within the pharmacy field at the bachelor's, master's, and diploma educational levels. Fully facilitated, the institute provides a focused learning environment to 238 students in the overall enrolment, and maintains faculty strength at 20.

To meet the growing needs of its students for better learning experiences, the institute is fully facilitated with all modern facilities. The 'Open Access System' is practised in the library and is well stocked. It has a gigantic collection of reference books, national, and international journals along with other reading materials. The library even offers a textbook loan facility and internet access for efficient referencing. The well-equipped laboratories include Pharmaceutical Chemistry Labs, Pharmaceutics Labs, Pharmacognosy Lab, Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab, and numerous others that cater to practical exposure. The campus is fully equipped with sports amenities, an auditorium to organise events and seminars, a cafeteria, and a bus to facilitate commuting on main routes of Meerut and Hapur.

The NKBR College of Pharmacy and Research Centre provides three full-time courses in the field of pharmacy. These include B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy), M.Pharma Pharmaceutics (Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics), and D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy). The total student intake for the institute is 238 together for all its programs, and hence the education support will be focused and individualised. 

The admission process to NKBR College of Pharmacy and Research Centre is majorly based on entrance test and merits. The admissions for B.Pharma and D.Pharma both are carried out through the entrance test, followed by merit. It shortlists candidates for B.Pharma as it accepts the score of the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Examination. This renders the commitment of the college to offer quality education from the programs that it runs to the AICTE and PCI that are the regulating bodies that take care of quality services for their standards and the requirements of the industry.
