• An Annual Alumni Meet 2024 at NMKRV College for Women was held on February 24, 2024.

NMKRV College for Women was founded in 1973 by Sri. Meda Kasturiranga Setty and Smt. Nagarathnamma Meda Kasturiranga Setty. It is part of RV Educational Institutions and has autonomy status. The college was recognised as a "College with Potential for Excellence" by the University Grants Commission in 2010. The NAAC accredited the college in 2021.

NMKRV College Bengaluru is affiliated with Bangalore University, Bangalore and provides quality education to females. NMKRV College for Women offers undergraduate programmes such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BA B.Ed, and B.Sc B.Ed. The postgraduate programmes available are MA, M.Sc (Data Science, Mathematics and Chemistry), and M.Com. Candidates can get admission to NMKRV Women's College Bengaluru based on their academic performance. For UG admission, NMKRV College for Women considers scores of class 12 for the merit list. Similarly, for PG admission, graduation scores are considered. The placement cell of NMKRV College of Women oversees all the placement-related activities. One can take a train to Bengaluru City Railway Station, which is about 7.1 km away from the NMKRV College for Women campus. Candidates can fly to Kempegowda International Airport, which is about 40 km away from the college. From there, they can take a bus, taxi, or cab to the college.
