NSS Training College Pandalam being founded in 1957 is one of the premier institution imparting teacher education in the region. This affiliated college is in Pathanamthitta, Kerala and has been moulding educators for over 60 years now. From the NAAC accreditation, the college proves its adherence to the quality education. NSS Training College occupies a total of 27.71 acres of land which provides a perfect environment for teaching and learning. The total student enrolment in the college is 146 with a Faculty of 14 member which clearly depicts that college provides special and individual care to its students.

NSS Training College has made available a variety of facilities aimed at improving the learning atmosphere as well as the general development of the learners. Education requires information and a well-stocked library plays a crucial role of acting as source of information. Especially for lovers of sports and physical activities, the college has good sport equipment and amenities including a fully fitted gym. There is provision of modern IT infrastructure, so the student is aware of new technological advancement in teaching. Multicultural events, club programmes, and activities take place in an auditorium contributing to student affairs. It also has functional laboratories to enable practical experiences for the students enrolled in college. Where there is a need for accommodation, the school provides hostel services to the students of both sexes within a comfortable hostels. 

NSS Training College, Pandalam offers two full-time courses in teacher education: Degree programmes namely the Bachelors in Education (B.ED) and the Masters in Education (M.ED). The B.Ed programme takes 50 students while the M.Ed programme which offered is for 25 students. These two programs are of two years’ duration and aims at preparing the students for enrollment to this noble profession. The overall total student capacity of enrolment in all the courses offered is Seventy Five 75, this is due to the policy of the college in admitting quality number of student in each class to ensure quality education is provided.

NSS Training College, Pandalam boasts of its prestigious alumni in its fold. The college also has an active Alumni Association which all students automatically become the life member of immediately they complete their college studies.
