72 MonthsDoctor Of Philosophy (PhD) programme in Animal Sciences shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned Offered by Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati.
Eligibility Criteria
Master’s degree in the respective/related subject from SVVU/ANGRAU or from an institution accredited by ICAR. OGPA of 6.5/10.00 or 2.7/4.00 or 70% marks in the traditional system for general category candidates and 6.00/10.00 or 2.5/4.00 or 60% marks in the traditional system for SC/ST/PH category candidates at Master’s Degree Level.
Admission Details
Only residents of Andhra Pradesh are eligible for admission except in case of ICAR quota. The seats will be filled by entrance test & etc weightage and interview conducted by SVVU.
