Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam offers MBBS, MD, MS AND PG Diploma. It also offers super speciality courses. To get admission to  MBBS candidates, have to appear for the NEET UG entrance exam, conducted by National Testing Academy (NTA) and obtain a valid score. They also need to register for the state level counselling.  For admission to MD/MS and PhD, candidates have to appear for the NEET PG entrance exam, conducted by National Testing Academy (NTA) and obtain a valid score. Candidates also have to register themselves for the state level NEET counselling. For admission to super speciality courses, candidates need to register themselves for the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) constituted by the Government of India. The admission process of AMC for MBBS:

• Medical aspirants have to appear for NEET UG Entrance Examination and obtain a valid score.

• They have to apply for centralised counselling conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

• DGHS will do the counselling for 15% All India Quota seats based on NEET UG Score and list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed in DGHS website.

• For the state-level counselling, candidates need to register with the state counselling authority body as the 85% seats will be allotted by the state counselling body. 

• The counselling authorities will allot the seat on the basis of NEET score, preferences of colleges and courses and as per the reservation criteria. 

• Candidates who choose to accept the allotted college have to report to the institute for document verification and completion of other admission processes. 

The admission process of AMC for MD/MS/PG Diploma:

• Candidates have to appear for NEET PG Entrance Examination and obtain a valid score.

• They have to apply for centralised counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

• MCC will do the counselling for 50 All India Quota, Deemed/Central universities, ESIC and AFMS institutes based on NEET PG Score and list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed in DGHS website.

• For the state-level counselling, candidates need to register with the state counselling authority body as the 50 % seats will be allotted by the state counselling body. 

• The counselling authorities will allot the seat on the basis of NEET score, preferences of colleges and courses and as per the reservation criteria. 

• Candidates who choose to accept the allotted college have to report to the institute for document verification and completion of other admission processes. 

The admission process of AMC for Super Speciality Courses (DM/M.Ch):

• Candidates have to apply and appear for NEET SS exam.

• Then, candidates have to register and apply for Andhra Medical College (AMC), on the DGHS website.

• Shortlisting of candidates will be done by DGHS based on NEET PG Score and list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed in DGHS website.

• Shortlisted candidates have to appear for AMC Counselling.

• Final admission will be based on the marks secured, participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
