About Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam
Andhra Medical College stands as one of the most ancient medical institutions in Andhra Pradesh as well as in India. Its establishment dates back to the 19th of July, 1923. The inaugural principal was Captain F. J. Anderson, overseeing the admission of students in its inaugural year. AMC Visakhapatnam is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Over the years, the college has formed affiliations with King George Hospital (KGH) and several other regional hospitals.
AMC Visakhapatnam offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in the stream of medicine and allied sciences. Andhra Medical College offers MBBS, MS, MD, PGD, DM and M.Ch. AMC Visakhapatnam admission is based on NEET/NEET PG/NEET SS.
AMC Visakhapatnam is an affiliated College of Dr YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.
