Om Institute of Technology and Management was established in the year 2008 and is the main educational institution in Hisar, Haryana. This 30-acre campus offers different technical and management programmes under one roof. The institute has approval from AICTE, and it is an affiliated college. The approved enrolment for the institute is a total of 330 and a faculty strength of 80.

OITM is equipped with different varieties of modern facilities, which help in its academics. In this connection, various types of departmental laboratories are well-equipped for their concerned fields of study in subjects like computer science, electronics and communication, and electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering. Courses offered in this institute include 8 B.Tech programmes: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Printing and Packaging Technology, and a part-time B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. For postgraduate studies, there are 6 M.Tech programmes available in different engineering specialisations and an MBA programme . 

The OITM admission procedure has an objective to filter the cream for various programmes. The Institute accepts entrance test scores of JEE Main, a nationally renowned engineering entrance test. Students applying for M.Tech can apply under Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering scores.
