Master of Business administration is a full time two-year postgraduate management course offered by Bangalore University, Bangalore and approved by AICTE.
Eligibility Criteria
A graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline securing at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages from a recognized university.
Honors degree under 10+2+4 pattern from a recognized university under UGC Act having at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages.
Candidates who have passed bachelor / master degree through correspondence / Open University system from this university or from any other university recognized by law are exempted from 10+2 pattern. The duration of the degrees must be 3 years / 2 years respectively.
Candidates who pass bachelor/master degree in any university system in the single sitting pattern are not eligible.
In case of SC/ST/Cat I candidates, there will be a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate of marks obtained.
Admission to the program will be effected through MBA PGCET or state-approved admission test from time to time.
Admission Details
Admission to the Padmashree Institute of Management Studies is strictly based on merit. Candidates are required to appear for the Admission Selection Process comprised of:
Stage 1: Written Test - Multiple choice tests in Maths, verbal, reading, logic & business awareness.
Stage 2: Personality Assessment - Those who qualify through Stage 1 normally proceed to two stages of personality assessment.
Group Discussion: Your performance in a group, while discussing a topic of current importance, is evaluated by a panel of judges.

The college also uses other parameters such as scholastic and extracurricular record and work experience for admission. The final selection of the candidate will be based on the overall performance in the Admission Selection Process.
