The Faculty of Ayurved offers an enriching three-year MD Degree program in Swasthavritta, where students acquire a contemporary understanding and skill set in this field.This program is designed to impart specialized knowledge in areas such as diet, yoga, hygiene, and naturopathy, enhancing students' proficiency in the treatment and care of patients. The curriculum ensures a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical applications, providing insights and guidance from seasoned experts in the field.Beyond classroom learning, the program incorporates diverse activities, including surveys, health camps in village areas, and initiatives for health promotion and disease prevention. The Department of Swasthavritta actively participates in national health programs and engages in social activities related to health.The faculty's strength lies in its affiliation with a 750-bedded multi-specialty hospital. This strategic partnership serves dual purposes: it trains and develops students in alignment with various medical sciences and provides them with a solid foundation in modern sciences.

Candidate shall have passed degree in Ayurved from a University or Board or Medical Institution specified in the Second Schedule to the Act to be eligible for admission in the post-graduate degree course.
