Simplicity
according to 1984, the college had all the necessary facilities such as maintained buildings, big class rooms, good professors, a canteen with delicious snacks, a nice auditorium and beautiful pants and trees.
the academic structure was traditional, since it was 1984 we had a lot of theoretical courses, the teachers were helpful. exams used to be tough and there were college trips included in the course structure.
the students who had studied bachelor's in arts, majoring in any subject, mostly went off to prepare for master's degree or any kind of government preparation. i must say those were the days when students were much more into govt jobs.
it was okay
good campus life
At Patna College, I find the campus spacious and rich in heritage, which gives it a unique charm. However, infrastructure feels quite outdated, and I think better maintenance and modern facilities would really improve the overall experience.
I feel academics are decent with experienced faculty and a strong traditional foundation. The courses are structured well, but I believe my learning depends a lot on self-study, consistency, and how much I explore beyond textbooks and classroom teaching.
In my experience, placements are quite limited with only a few recruiters visiting. So I feel it is important for me to focus on skill development, internships, and actively look for off-campus opportunities to ensure better career growth
Patna College's infrastructure is a blend of heritage architecture and functional spaces. Facilities include a large library, hostels for boys (some with good facilities), and playgrounds. However, being an old institution, regular maintenance is needed for the buildings and furniture.

Patna College placements are generally moderate, with varying success across courses for the students. Placement is better for vocational courses (BCA/BBA). Many students opt for higher studies or government jobs.

My college has really good teachers. They taught us really well and explain the things really nicely. My college building is also a heritage buliding so it's a different experience to study here. Overall it's a good experience.
Academics is really good but the syllabus structure is old . It should be changed to let students be up to date. Teachers are really good and they are teaching really well whatever syllabus we have. So it's good.
Placements are not that good in my college. The management need to work on this to keep the college standards high and keep the students coming to study in our college. If placements are good people will come for sure.
This college is really value for money. It provides good college and degree in valuable price. In comparison to private colleges it's really good so In terms of money it's a really good college. Sp overall good.
