In the College of higher learning, the library as the storehouse of knowledge needs to play a pivotal role. A modern library goes far beyond providing the readers with a large stock of books and periodicals, and a quiet, serene, and comfortable place to study in. It is supposed to provide the readers with information on the entire wealth of knowledge available on any selected topic with a mere click of a button. Apart from the physical books stocked within the library walls, it needs to provide the readers with access to shared E-resources from across the world. The College Library with its dynamic librarian and “always ready to help” staff has been continuously striving to keep pace with the changing times to provide the students with the very best of facilities.

The College significance of sports in the life of a student can never be overemphasized. Most of us start out playing a sport as a means of fun and recreation. But somewhere along the way, in the midst of all the fun, we realize that sports can often be a metaphor for achieving success in life. It teaches us about being a part of a team, and the importance of working together to accomplish a common goal. We learn to shoulder personal responsibility, and how to cope with defeat and failure. It teaches how to remain focused on a task for the period of time required to achieve it. We learn about consistency and concentration, and how to overcome weaknesses and go beyond limits.
