PCTE Institute of Pharmacy established in 2007 is affiliated college situated in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. PCI approved pharmacy college of placing this esteemed institution, offers pharmaceutical education programmes excluding B.Pharmacy. The institute is located near Baddowal Cant, Jhande, and has a total of 15 committed members on the faculty. PCTE Institute of Pharmacy has designed four different programmes in pharmacy namely B.Pharma, M.Pharma, and diploma programmes so that every individual in the field of pharmacy may meets their educational requirements. The institute boasts of quality delivery of education with embraced modern facilities and current market relevant curriculum.

PCTE Institute of Pharmacy provides almost all types of conventional and modern facilities necessary for effective teaching and learning for the students. Some of the laboratory’s equipment include Brookfield viscometer, UV-VIS, spectrophotometer, HPLC, Dissolution apparatus among others, all equipped within the campus. These advanced facilities give students exposures of research and development in pharmaceutical field. The institute also has a separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with well furnished room, Wi-Fi internet and Air Conditioned rooms are also available. First aid facilities provided by a health centre meet the needs of students, and the library is a place as knowledge centre. In a bid to foster recreation and health bill, there are fully-fledged facilities for sports on campus. Students can study under the institute’s connectivity and Wi-Fi to enable digital learning at the institute. Currently PCTE Institute of Pharmacy is offering total of four courses out of which all are full time. These are B.Pharma, B.Pharma Lateral Entry, M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and D.Pharma courses offered at the college. The B.Pharma programme is intakes 100 students, while the D.Pharma programme has been sanctioned with strength 60. The Degree of M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics has 12 seats only. Pharmaceutical institute aims at imparting all-round education in the field of Pharmacy with a view to placing the student in different sectors of the pharma industry as well as research sector.

The admission procedure of the PCTE Institute of Pharmacy is different in each course. For the B.Pharma programme, candidates as admitted as per the merit of the qualifying examination and as per University guidelines. The institute conducts counseling about 10 days after the release of the result of the qualifying examinations. It worth noting that during counseling, the admission committee offers admission instantly to each of the candidates in line depending on her/his performance. Students are expected to remit full fees for the first semester as a cash deposit during registration. In respect of the admissions of the B.Pharma Lateral Entry, norms for admission are as per the university standards in existence at the time of admissions.
