B.Des Interior Architectural Design at Pearl Academy, Bengaluru Offline Course

Our four year Undergraduate (UG) Interior Design program explores the potential of design to transform a space into unique experiences. In a constantly evolving ecosystem where design challenges are complex, interior designing program equips our students to conceive meaningful ideas and convert them into a built environment that positively impacts and improves the experience of end-users.

Our Students learn Interior Design with a clear understanding of theories of the discipline – Interior Design Fundamentals, Design Principles, Human Comfort, Ergonomics, Colour Theory, Materials and their Application, Space Planning with Aesthetics and Representation Tools.

The core values of the best interior design program enable students to think critically, take creative risks, and design for a larger social impact. The understanding comes from research on aspects that include Human needs, behaviour, and psychology through project-based learning.

With relevance to current times and the constantly changing scenario, we encourage students to seek innovative solutions by adopting sustainable practices, which also forms an integral part of their learning experience.

The interior design course offers elective modules in relevant specializations such as Adaptive Reuse, Built Heritage, Furniture Design, and Parametric Design.

Students are mentored by industry experts and are provided international exposure through exchange programs and shared learning modules with foreign universities.

We have an experienced team of faculty who are consistently engaged in developing research and design by actively presenting papers in National and International Design conferences.

Students from the diploma in interior designing program have won many national and international awards such as Asia Young Designer Award, Awards at Pune Design Festival, Disruptive Design Awards, Arts Thread Graduate Awards to name a few.

Our Alumnae have found sought after placements in the industry, and many are working with reputed, award-winning multinational design firms such as Iqrup+ Ritz, Accenture, Gensler, Morphogenesis, Studio Lotus, LivSpace, Urban Ladder, Pepperfry, and IKEA.
