• On April 15, JNTU Kakinada closed registration for the AP EAMCET 2024 without charging a late fee. By May 12, candidates who have not yet applied for the AP EAPCET 2024 may do so by paying a late fee to register for the entrance exam.

Prasad V Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (PVPSIT) was established in 1998 by the Siddhartha Academy of General and Technical Education, Vijayawada. Prasad V Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology has been accredited with an ‘A+’ Grade by NAAC and is approved by AICTE. According to NIRF 2023, the college ranks among the 201st to 250th engineering colleges in India. 

PVPSIT is an autonomous institute affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. Prasad V Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology offers NBA-accredited PVPSIT UG courses.PVPSIT offers around 9 full-time courses such as B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA. The PVPSIT admission is based on the performance of candidates in the AP EAMCET / AP ICET / GATE entrance exams conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. 

The candidates have to apply through the official website of the college or through the APSCHE portal. The eligibility criteria, reservation policy, fee structure, and counselling procedure are as per the norms of JNTUK and APSCHE. The PVPSIT placement cell provides training, guidance, and assistance to the students for their career development. The cell organises campus recruitment drives, internships, workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industrial visits, and alumni interactions. 

The cell has a strong network with reputed companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, IBM, Oracle and many others. PVPSIT facilities include spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a digital library, an auditorium, seminar halls, a sports complex, a gymnasium, a cafeteria, a hostel, and a medical centre.

The nearest airport Gannavaram Airport is located 15 km away from the campus and takes about 26 minutes to reach. Vijayawada Junction Railway Station is the nearest railway station with a distance of 10 km and it takes only 30 minutes to reach the institute. PVPSIT is located 10 km away from the Hanumanpet Bus Stop.
