66 MonthsBachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery is a 5.5-year (four and a half years duration course followed by a compulsory rotatory internship of one year) full-time course. Offered by Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS course.
- H.S.C / (+2) or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) with minimum marks as per NMC norms.
- Mandatory qualifying score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) as prescribed by the NMC.
Admission Details
Must have Qualified NEET-UG (NATIONAL Eligibility cum Entrance Test) for admission in MBBS Course.
- General Category: 50Th Percentile or above
- Physically Handicapped: 45th Percentile or above
- Reserved (ST/ST/OBC) : 40th Percentile or above
All admission have to be made through common counseling as prescribed in the Regulations on Graduate Medical Education. 1997.
