PSV College of Engineering and Technology (PVSCET) was started in the year 2008 and is situated in Krishnagiri District of Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college approved by the AICTE and accredited by NAAC is known for offering a wide area of engineering and management courses. PVSCET, spread over 10.85 acres for the campus, has a total of 1,143 students enrolled and employs 145 faculty. It provides 17 courses in 4 degree types studied in different engineering disciplines and management. With a gender ratio of 3:1 (male to female), PVSCET allows the creation of a proactive atmosphere for education for those willing to become professionals.

PVSCET has many facilities to cater to the student’s learning and other needs in a modern world. As a centre of learning, the library has a facility for all its students and faculties with all the modern gadgets, digital stock and high-speed internet. Advanced laboratories are provided for various departments and allow practical working. The college includes two hostels for boys and another two for girls, and the number of students hosted by them is over 500 and 200, respectively. The computing centre is well equipped with an internet connection through a leased line of 20 Mbps and 650 workstations to take advantage of the availability of digital sources. The college also makes available on campus sports facilities, a diet through a college cafeteria and a multi hall for annual general meetings, drama performances etc.

PVSCET provides a total of 17 course combinations which consist of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It offers nine full-time undergraduate programmes and three postgraduate programmes. All courses have an approved intake of 534 seats. The courses are BE in Computer Science and Engineering, Civil, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, and so on. 

As for admission, it is known that PVSCET uses mainly the system of admission based on the results of the exams. In the college for engineering programmes, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) scores are considered. The institute also takes into account state-level entrance examinations for admission into its institution.
