Pushpagiri college of dental science Perumthuruthy, PCDS was established in the year 2006 which is one of the prestigious colleges in south India with high standards of education in dental science. This affiliated college is situated at Thiruvalla, Kerala and the college occupies an area of 5.01 acres. PCDS is recognised by NAAC and recognised by Dental Council of India (DCI). This college has a total of 7 courses across 2 degrees and has students strength of 337 and the faculty strength of 88.
Pushpagiri college offers many amenities for the improvement of learning environment among its students. These are separate hostels for boys and girls making sure that out station students are well accommodated in the colleges.. A modern library is source of knowledge as laboratory is a source of practical knowledge. A health centre including first aid, sports equipments, and a gym to exercise the body part of men’s welfare is provided on campus. This helps in enhancing the campus life as it will be use in holding of various events and seminars. The college also provides IT infrastructure, transport facility and canteen in order to provide a favorable environment for academic activities.
PCDS has lined up 7 dental programmes which, consists of one Undergraduate Course. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and six Postgraduate specialisations. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). Admission capacity of BDS is 50 seats and admission capacity of MDS programmes is the total of 14 seats in various branches.
