RAI Teacher’s Training College was started in 2015 and situated in Sikandra Rao, Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. As a co-educational college it is an affiliated college recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college is functioning in a constrained area of 1.012 acre’s area and at present, the total enrolment of the college is of 139 students and faculty members are 17 in number.

The library is an expansive, open room that divides into sections by glass walls; they have a large number of books in its catalog and contain a separate reading area. RAI Teacher’s Training College possesses the best computer laboratory complete with modern computers and uncounterfeited software that offers practical lessons in information technology. For physical fitness and recreation, there is a sports available along with a gym for the use of the institute. There are facilities for conducting large meetings and seminars and there are specialised laboratories for use by each department. The college also has a health centre with first aid and all other facilities in order to take care of its students. A canteen caters to the food requirements of teachers and learners while a guest house or a waiting bay is provided for the use of visiting faculty and students’ relations respectively. The college is affiliated to Dr BR Ambedkar University, Agra.

RAI Teacher’s Training College invites applications only in teacher education and conducts only the B.Ed programme. This is a fulltime programme with total student intake is 139 and the number is suitable for the college. The course in B.Ed programme, therefore, is developed with the aim of training personnel to teach with appropriate knowledge and teaching abilities.

The requirement of admission to the B.Ed programme in the college is as prescribed by the State Government/U.T. Administration, and affiliated University. Selection is on merit basis depending on the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and an entrance test.
