RIET, Rajasthan Institute of Engineering an Technology, Chittorgarh is a newly born institute as it was set up in the year 2009. This is affiliated college provides various engineering courses in the giant ten acres of land of the college. RIET now holds 187 students, and it has 97 members in the faculty.

The institute boasts of providing all rounded facility to make learning enjoyable for its students. RIET has separate well-equipped laboratories for each stream of education to provide practical knowledge to its students. Information center of the college contains approximately one thousand books and different subscriptions to journals for students and teachers’ use. Currently the college has accommodation facilities for both male and female students in form of hostels with basic amenities. RIET also has its transport division in the form of buses to provide transport to students and The transport division also provides cars for the use of the faculty members.

RIET offers B.Tech programmes full time- 4 and Diploma courses full time- 4 in total totaling 8 courses. The B. Tech programme take four calendar years while the Diploma programs take three calendar years. The institute offers five B.Tech specialisations: Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering etc. Besides, there is also three Diploma programmes offered in Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

Like any university, the RIET has a different approach to admitting students depending on the program offered. B.Tech programmes on the other hand, have direct admissions from percentage scores of 12th standard and JEE (Joint Entrance Examination). This institute accept score of JEE Main which is one of the national level entrance examination for engineering stream. For Diploma programmes admissions are offered and processed under central counseling by Director of Technical Education, Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
