Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET), Chittorgarh, has a thorough admission process for its different engineering courses. The institute, covering a vast 10-acre campus, offers B.Tech as well as Diploma courses to students who aspire to be engineers. RIET's admission process aims to choose the worthy candidates by combining national-level entrance tests and academic merit in qualifying exams.

For B.Tech courses, RIET takes the scores of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, a pan India recognized engineering entrance examination. The institute also takes percentage marks of 12th standard for direct admission to certain seats. Application Process

Application for admission to RIET is different for different programs:

For B.Tech programs:

1. Sit for the JEE Main exam administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

4. Return the completed application form with the relevant documents, including:

• Caste certificate (if necessary)
• Domicile certificate (if needed)

4. Pay the fee as indicated by the Directorate.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: RIET provides five B.Tech specializations: Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Admission to these four-year courses is through JEE Main scores and percentage in 12th standard. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects are eligible to apply.

Diploma: Three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering is offered by the institute. These courses are administered through the centralized counseling process carried out by the Director of Technical Education, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Eligible candidates who have passed their 10th standard are eligible for these courses.
