The college was established in 1996. RGCIRC, Delhi is a Government university affiliated to  Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The college offers various courses at Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. RGCIRC, Delhi Diploma courses include Diploma in X Ray and Imaging Technology, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Diploma in Medical Record Technology, Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology. Admissions for diploma courses are offered to candidates who have passed class 10th from a recognised board. RGCIRC, Delhi UG courses include B.Sc Medical Technology and Radiotherapy and admissions are based on candidates performance in higher education which is 10+2. All the courses are offered in full time mode only. 

RGCIRC, Delhi PG courses include DNB in different fields and admissions are based on candidates' performance in bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. The college also offers doctoral admissions to the students. RGCIRC, Delhi Doctoral courses include Fellowship in Oncology Anesthesiology, Fellowship in Oncology Radiology, Fellowship in Interventional Radiology and many more. Candidates must hold a master’s degree from a recognised board for RGCIRC, Delhi Doctoral admissions. RGCIRC, Delhi facilities include modern laboratories, well equipped classrooms, a well stocked library. The college provides a vibrant learning environment to the students.
