• Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology and Biotechnology, Pune (Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University) has been Re- Accredited by the NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. 

Established in the year 2002, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology and Biotechnology, Pune offers programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. At the UG level, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology and Biotechnology offers B.Sc programme and at the PG level, RGITBT Pune offers M.Sc programme in 3 disciplines and a 1 year Advanced Diploma programme. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology and Biotechnology, Pune also offers Ph.D programme in 2 research areas. To take admission in the B.Sc programme at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology and Biotechnology, the candidates should appear for BV- ABOP Test and admission in the M.Sc programmes at RGITBT Pune is made on the basis of rank obtained by the candidates in the BV- MBT. Both the Entrance Tests are the Computer Centre based Entrance Tests. Admission in the Advanced Diploma programme is made as per the norms set up by the University. 

The admission in the Advanced Diploma programme at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology and Biotechnology, Pune can either be made on the basis of merit of the candidates in the qualifying examinations or through an entrance test.
