Ram Adhar Singh Mahavidyalaya is a youthful institute of learning that was founded in 2012 and situated in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. This is a co-ed college that is located in an area called Rajaval Bheusa and it occupies a small piece of land of 1.013 acres of land. Presently, the total number of students is five hundred twenty-one and the total number of faculties is twenty-seven; therefore, the college has a competent student-teacher ratio.

Ram Adhar Singh Mahavidyalaya believes in offering basic amenities to the students to aid their learning process in the course. Thus, it provides a resource centre where students can access books and other study materials required in their academic endeavours. Sports lovers shall be subjected to facilities within the college since the college provides for more development in this aspect. Priority is accorded to health needs, as there is a medical section that cares for the first aid of students in cases of a slight ailment. Furthermore, as a college, the institution provides departmental laboratories where learners can exercise and implement their learning in their areas of speciality. 

Ram Adhar Singh Mahavidyalaya currently offers Two full-time courses a three-year course of Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a two-year course of Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.), the college aims to secure its students future education and career goals. 

Regarding this, the system of admission in Ram Adhar Singh Mahavidyalaya, an affiliated college of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, is different. Regarding the admission criteria of the D.El.Ed. programme, it follows a merit system based on marks obtained at the qualifying exam and entrance test.
