RB Gautam College of Pharmacy, Hathras, is an affiliated college of the Uttar Pradesh government, which is imparting good education in the streams of Pharmacy. The college takes a merit basis on the admission process for pharmacy programs. Recognized under the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

A clear and fair process of admission is followed at RB Gautam College of Pharmacy. Most of the college's courses related to pharmacy are mainly Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). Admission cycle, for most cases, will be aligned to the academic calendar of Uttar Pradesh universities. In summer months, application processes will open, while other theatres commence in August-September.

Eligibility requirements for admission into B. Pharma/.D. Pharma programs entail completing Higher Secondary (10+2) from reputed boards. In 10+2, it was mandatory for candidates to study Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology or Computer Science. The candidates applying must have an aggregate of 50 percent in the qualifying examination for consideration.

Application Process

1. The college announces the commencement for admission through its recognized channels.

2. Application Form: Candidates to fill application form either online or in person at the admission office of the college.

3. Attachment of Documents: Candidates shall renew the completed application form with:

   • 10th and 12th Mark Sheets and Certificates

   • Character certificate from a previously attended institution

   • Transfer certificate (if applicable)

   • Migration certificate (if applicable)

   • Caste certificate (for reserved category candidates)

   • Recent passport-size photographs

4. Application Fee: Candidates to pay a prescribed amount of application fee, as referred in the application form.

5. Submission of Application: Completed application forms with the required documents and fees have to be submitted to the admission office of the college prior to the last date.

6. Merit List Preparation: The college prepares a merit list for the candidates based on the 10+2 score in relevant subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Computer Science).

7. Merit List Publication: The merit list is put up on the college notice board.

8. Counseling and Seat Allotment: Pursuant to the merit list, all qualified candidates will be noted for the counseling to the allotment of seats in accordance to merit.

9. Fee Payment: The fee for the course will be paid by selected aspirants within due dates in order to confirm admission.

10. Document Verification: Verification of original documents in the process of admissions.

11. Confirmation of Admission: Admission shall be confirmed and thereafter the candidates enrolled after the payment of fees and verification of documents.

Degree-wise Admission Procedure

B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy):
The B.Pharma is a four-year full-time course and has an intake capacity of 60 candidates. Admission to the course shall be based on merit obtained in the higher secondary examinations (or qualifying examinations) with compulsory subjects being Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Computer Science and an aggregate minimum of 50 percent secured in the examinations.

D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy):
D.Pharma, which is a two years full time course, has 60 seats. The eligibility criteria for this course remain the same as that of B.Pharma, which are qualifying the 10+2 level examination with the appropriate subjects and attaining a minimum of 50 percent in the aggregate.
