The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal (RIMS Imphal) was established on September 14, 1972. Stipend for pg medical depends on the state where it works , Stipend in central government colleges is comparatively higher when compared to state government, they are nearly payed equal scale of their grades in other departments.
UCMS,LHMC,VMMC,RML -its nearly 80000 excluding HRA, for first year,then certain increment every year for next two years.
In Delhi,in most government hospitals stipend varies between 60k/mo(1st year resident) to 78 k/mo(3rd year resident)- gross.
