Introduction

Remote Sensing Applications Centre, Lucknow is an autonomous college under the Science and Technology Department, Government of Utter Pradesh. The RSAC UP was established in the year 1982. The institute is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Utter Pradesh and, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and also recognized by the Government of Utter Pradesh. The RSAC UP offers 1 two year PG course under the School of Geo-Informatics since 2013. The RSAC UP PG course is M. Tech in Remote Sensing & GIS. The academic session of the RSAC UP course starts from the month of July every year.

Candidates must fulfil the RSAC UP eligibility criteria before applying. The minimum eligibility for RSAC UP admission is B.E/B. Tech in Civil/Environment/Computer Science/IT/EE/Agriculture Engineering or M.Sc in specific subjects with a minimum of 55%  or equivalent CGPA marks from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates can apply online for RSAC UP admission through the websites of UPSEE/Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. 

Preferences for seat allotment for RSAC UP are given to all GATE-qualified candidates and CUET PG entrance test qualified candidates. The RSAC UP PG admission is done on the basis of merit.

Remote Sensing Applications Centre is located at Sector-G, Jankipuram, Near Indian Overseas Bank, Kursi Road, Lucknow, Utter Pradesh. Tedhi Puliya Chowraha is the nearest bus stop to this institute with a walkable distance of  0.650 km. The nearest railway station to this college is Mohibullapur railway station with a distance of 3.1 km.
