Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women might not impress you with its ambience but it has a well experienced faculty . You can spend best of your college days under a vast course field.
You can experience an average academic journey with well educated faculty members, it might be disappointing in so many ways. College has a nice library to study and a cafeteria to spend your class breaks.
That's my honest review when it comes to placement, as the college has a placement cell and a yearly elected student council that won't do any justice to your placements. It just provides you a degree in your field with no future aspect.
It totally depends on what friend circle and place you choose to stay because college life is already messed up , because however you try to attend classes you are all dependent on your ability to study and God Chat GPT.
It is a great place to study. Classroom are properly lighted. The infrastructure of the college is decent. It is Government college with the greatest number of students. Every department has its own building.
Faculty are helpful qualified and knowledgeable. Exams are not that hard . The students can easily pass if they have studied at least 40% of the syllabus from the books. When we need to understand any problem they are always ready to teach us
There is no intership from any company in the college. Recruiting companies for the course are not the invited. It's just way of best studying college. There are no industry visit. A person who is interested in civil exam can take admission.
Library is also valuable with different books are available other than the subjects, story books and novel etc. the infrastructure of the hostel on th campus is good. College are organised events and games.
Faculty members are very supportive and guidance us toward PHD. The faculties focus only knowledge aspects. The teaching quality is very good. The are very supportive and give carrer guidance which helps students.
The average percentage of students get internship from masters programs. A lot of other opportunities are also available in our college. I do not have any idea about the recruiting companies. The students do this course for their undergraduate.
The classroom and labs are well equipped. Hostel facilities are available for a very limited number of students. regarding the hostel situation i don't have much information as I live in a room. There is ood library in the college.
Teachers and professor are very supportive and helpful. The exams are not that tough you only need 33% to pass. The faculty member they provide us with knowledge and help in our other extracurricular activities.
I do masters degree after my graduation and most of the students did the same. Student get placement from our college with many opportunities given and package are offered according to skills. The starting average package offered.
The Infrastructure is well-developed. Labs are equipped with necessary instrument for molecular biology, microbiology and genetics practicals. The University has a solid collection of reference books, journals and e-resources that are very useful for research.
The faculty members in the biotechnology department are highly qualified and supportive. They are approachable and often encourage students to get involved in mini research work and paper writing. Semester exams are moderately challenging, but manageable with consistent study.
The placement is more academically and research-oriented. While core placements aren't guaranteed for this stream, students often go for higher studies like Ph.D or apply to research institutes such as CSIR, ICMR labs or biotech startups. Some students also crack government exams and join premier institutes.
Infrastructure is good. The facilities are also available in our department. Library is also well stocked in different books are available. The good facilities and a supportive learning environment in a college.
They also have good teaching experience and make students ready for industry and personal development. Supportive learning environment to ensure holistic development for students. Most of teachers are NET qualified.
The last semester students become eligible for campus placement and their training. Start from 2 year. The college provides many types of courses subject. As the package is not disclosed because it is a government college.
The labs are functional but outdated and some equipment is either not working or very old. There's no Wi-FI access, which makes research and study quite inconvenient at times. The classrooms are cramped and ventilation is poor in summer months.
A few teachers are really passionate and knowledgeable, but others seem disengaged and uninterested in teaching. The teaching approach is mostly theoritical with limited practical exposure, which is frustrating in a lab-based subject like biotechnology.
Opportunities are limited. Only a small percentage of students get placed directly through the college and even those offers tend to be from small firms or labs with modest packages. Internships are also not strongly supported, you mostly have to search on your own or rely on personal contacts.
The Infrastructure is decent for a college of this level. Basic amenities like purified drinking water and wi-fi are available. There's no hostel facilities, so students from outside have to arrange PGs or rentals nearby. The canteen is below average and the food is hit-or-miss.
Most of them are qualified and approachable and they genuinely help students who show initiative. Semester exams are under the university and they are not easy, but if you attend classes regularly and revise well, they are manageable.
Placement opportunities are short but gradually improving. The college organizes career guidance sessions and skill-building workshops, but placements are more frequent for undergrad streams. For postgrads, it's mostly off-campus efforts or research-based, small pharma firms and startups, but don't expect top-tier companies with big packages.
College is good and better quality infrastructure, and strong academic and research support also it has practical learning is reinforced through internships and real-life research assignments that strengthen critical thinking and analytical skills
Msc agronomy syllabus is ICAR-aligned and includes advanced modules like crop physiology, soil fertility, water management, precision farming, with regular seminars, guest lectures, case studies, group projects, and workshops .
Placement is by far as MSc Agronomy is limited, overall M.Sc. programs at SGRRU report 55% placement with exposure to research roles, agribusinesses, NGOs, government, and consultancy sectors and helps.
Every practical aspect of agriculture is touched Field work and extension is prioritised good environment better classrooms peaceful equipped labs Uttaranchal University is a solid mid-tier choice for B.Sc. Agriculture—boasting strong infrastructure, experienced faculty, and respectable placements in private agri‑companies. It demands significant fees and may not guarantee uniform placement outcomes, so prospective students should be prepared for proactive internships and practical engagement to maximize returns.
Uttaranchal University's B.Sc. Agriculture stands out for: A robust ICAR-aligned curriculum enriched with practical training. Well-qualified and mostly student-friendly faculty. Strong lab, field, and infrastructure support. A balanced assessment pattern, with rigorous external exams.
Uttaranchal University offers decent placement support for B.Sc. Agriculture students, though outcomes vary depending on individual skills, academic performance, and proactive engagement in internships. The average placement rate is around 60–70%, with some batches reporting slightly lower figures (~40–50%) depending on the year.
Uttaranchal University offers a vibrant and well-maintained 100+ acre campus nestled in the scenic surroundings of Dehradun. Campus life is a blend of academic focus and co-curricular excitement, especially for B.Sc. Agriculture students who spend time in both classrooms and open fields.
The campus is well maintained like very clean. The library labs, and Wi-Fi are functional, though the infrastructure is also not very high-tech. Hostel facilities are just decent I feel as according to the hostel fees that was taken.
Very Experienced faculty members were there in our time who were very supportive and well-qualified. The teaching style mainly focused on both theoretical concepts and practical exposure. Most teachers are approachable and help in doubt-solving sessions.
Placements in the HIT Dehradun are very average but the college puts good effort into conducting the training and pre-placement sessions. Many students also manage to secure the internships during their final year, and local companies come for recruitments too.
The infrastructure is actually very good impressive in a smart way. The space is very large and not cramped, there are plenty of spots to sit with friends or quiet areas to study, there’s a good balance. Even small things like drinking water stations and resting areas are there
The teaching environment is excellent they explain every small details and concepts instead of just rushing through slides or books. They speak in a way that’s easy to get and understand even if someone is lacking and is not from a strong background. Classes don’t feel like a burden.
The college placement team brings different companies each year and there’s training that helps to prepare before interviews. Even students who aren’t class toppers manage to get placed if they show some confidence and interest. While some get great offers, others get decent ones to start there respective careers.
As a college student, I feel IIT Roorkee has amazing infrastructure. The classrooms are big and comfortable, labs have all the equipment we need, and the library is super useful. There’s free Wi-Fi everywhere on campus. The sports grounds, gym, and swimming pool are really good. Hostels are nice and feel like home. There are also many halls and auditoriums for events and fests. The campus is clean, green, and full of energy. It gives us everything to learn, grow, and have fun.
Academics at IIT Roorkee are really good. Professors are knowledgeable, supportive, and ready to help students when needed. The curriculum is well-structured and challenging. Students also support each other, and there is a good academic culture on campus. In case of emergencies, there are helpful systems like test rescheduling (re-giving) and course drop options, which give flexibility. Labs, tutorials, and online resources further enhance learning. Overall, the academic environment helps students grow and do well.
I am still in my 3rd year so don't have much idea of placements but a lot of my seniors are very well placed in good companies. There are almost every company of every domain be it tech , data analytics, Data science, web development, finance and many more. but yeah a lot of also depends on your branch if it is curcuital Branch then u have a lot more opportunities than non circuital branches, but at the end skills and cg matters more I feel.
campus life is very cool here, there is a dedicated section here called student activity centre which engages a lot of students in different ways of their choice.
No, thank you!
The building of the college is old and give vintage look. It has a library with collection of books with foreign writers as well. we have college canteen which serves good quality of food. It is near to Eves crossing.
In b.com there is a strength of 80 students. teachers are well qualified and teaches according to the curriculum. Also, daily activities has been conducted for finance related upskilling. Considered a good college in terms of academics
There is no such placements in the college related to bcom. Either you go higher studies or look for some certifications. College also do not provide any placement support to the students. Do not depend on them
According to my experience this is the best university having very good infrastructure helping the students for their studies and the facilities such as air conditioners and wifi which are essential for us are doing well and good
Encourages students to be proactive and ambitious This university has a positive attitude and the quality of teaching by teachers is the best curriculum is also updated accordingly to the time giving opportunities for development of students
The college supports in placement and providing opportunities in internship for their betterment and to get a good experience . All the students get their placement according to their skills and nature and almost 85-90% of the students got placed according to their skills and communication
My college have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. Classrooms have fan, cular facility Some classrooms have smart board. College have a huge libarary filled with books ,newspaper, magazine etc. College have sports grounds. College mess is have suspicious space.
I am pursuing bcom. Program for financial management. The teaching quality quite nice, teachers are experienced for more than 10 years. The curriculum of our course or college is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
The placements are quite nice in my college. Almost 10 to 15 companies came every year for placement. Almost 30 to 40 percentage of students are placed every year. college is very supportive for students. Average 15000 salary was offered.
College have many societies and club for students according to their interest. The staff is very supportive at evey stage. The college is located at karol Bagh which is a very friendly place and safe also. College can handle emergencies at any time they appoint staff for emergencies
The college shares infrastructure with BHU campus. You will feel like living in a holistic environment which supports your every day life. The classrooms, laboratories etc are well maintained. And there are sufficient extra curriculum infrastructure as well. The hostels and mess are amazing.
The quality of professors are excellent. The courses are well structured. And it really helps the students to secure their dream job. You are exposed to all fields of industry not just your own branch. Even people in core branches get placed in any company of their choice without any restrictions!
The placements are great. Almost all the companies from India and major companies from abroad visit us for placements. The salaries offered are also on par with other IITs with total compensation for freshers reaching easily 30LPA domestically. The TPA is fully supportive as well. Even as an alumini.
The best. Seniors are really good and talented. Also the non academic clubs make life happening.
I did the Mcom from the same college as bcom. It has a vintage building with basic amenities like canteen, library, sports ground to eat, read, and play respectively. I considered its infra as average.
Teachers are well qualified who teaches in a manner that it can be easily understood by the students. Do not expect much from this college. Making a good percentage is quite tough as papers are set by university.
They do not provide placement. Also, there is a scope if anyone go higher studies like professional degree like MBA in finance or either do any course or certification to become a finance analyst or investment banker.
The hostel offers Wi-Fi, which is 30GB/month, you can use it however you want. The classrooms are decent and library is well and open during college hours. Hostel facilities are good. Quality of food in mess and canteen is too good
Teachers are very knowledgeable, helpful, and qualified as well which is a good thing for the college. The course curriculum is relevant and it doesn't make the students industry-ready. It makes the students aware of the industry standards, which is quite good. The semester exams are stress-free.
99% of students were placed last year. The average package is 3.4 LPA. Mass recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Accenture. Big companies like JP Morgan come rarely and IBM offers good placements. The students here are very diligent, smart, and very kind to the juniors
As a BMS student in major finance, I have to talk about the infrastructure of our department building, it's quite good from the outside infrastructure but from inside, some repairs are needed. The washrooms are good, our college has a gymkhana where, if you are good at sports, you can go for competitions on behalf of the college
I am studying a major in finance, and the whole syllabus has changed. The college follows the NEP curriculum, and to learn a variety of skills. We also have a field project where you have to do research on field communication with other people. We are learning, we apply it in our lives too, so it's practical too.
I am still in 3rd year of college, am not aware of any placement currently, but there is a placement cell in our college there might be placements available at the end of our degree. so, really, I have no idea about it I don't
