The design village campus is awesome for learning. We have open studios with big desks, fast Wi-Fi, and small library with desks books. Labs have tools like laser cutters, but they can jam sometimes. hostels are neat with good internet, though rooms are small, so I booked early. Food is basic, but there's a nice lawn to chill. It's a good spot to study, just a bit cramped.
Academics
Classes at The design village are fun and practical. My UI/UX design course teaches me app design, user testing, and coding basic with real projects. Teachers are nice and share job tips, but some lessons feel slow. Exams are about making apps, not just writing, which I like. It's great for skills, though I wish we had more practice time.
Placements
Placements here are okay if you work hard. Last year, about 50% of my batch got jobs with tech firms and startups, starting at 4-6 lakh a year. Around 40% of us got internships earning 6-10k a month. The team helps with prep, But your portfolio matters most. It's growing, so I'm trying to improve.

campus life at The design village is lively and fun. we have design contests, movie nights, and talks with pros, which I enjoy. The place feels creative, but hostels can be noisy, and rules are strict. friends are great, and the open spaces are nice to relax. I wish we had more spots to hang out.

Being in the AI specialization, I've experienced a mix of traditional teaching and peer-led learning. The learning curve is steep, especially when project deadlines and competitive coding sessions overlap.
