Our college provides good facilities for students, and the infrastructure is also good. There are more trees inside SRM college. Hostel facilities and infrastructure are bad, but the food served in the hostel was the worst. There are no playgrounds in our college, and only two small basketball courts are available. There are less elevator facilities.

Teachers here are good at clarifying doubts of the students, and they are very responsible. They are well qualified, while some are less qualified. They are knowledgeable in teaching and conducting lab activities. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.

Other than studies, many events are conducted in which certificates are also provided. They are useful for our jobs. Placements are provided for students according to their CGPA ranging from higher to lower in 4 years of the course. Based on that, salaries are offered by many companies like IT companies, mobile companies, Airtel, etc.

The total strength of my branch is 54 and as you know Physics is an interesting and baffling subject you can prefer course. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and many startups to top companies will recruit students here. Based on your CG, you will get a better internship too.

I am a day scholar, so I know nothing about the hostel. The college infrastructure is good, in my opinion. But we cannot perform any culturals in our college. When it comes to labs and practicals, they have less experienced staff for teaching. During campus selection, they won't provide us with Wi-Fi; we have to use our own data.

In my opinion, the faculty is not that good. Example I have taken a computer science course, but I learned nothing about the course. If it comes to exams, they always keep weekend exams every week, and if we fail them, they will charge a fine for that. Even for the midterm exams, they will charge a fine.
Placements
As we all know, the IT sector is in recession, so the campus placements for this year are low. The placements that we are getting are from non-IT sector companies. Some of my friends got placed in the non-IT sector, which is a good thing, but we joined this college for IT companies.

The new curriculum for bioinformatics is good, and the faculty members teach well, at least most of them do. Some teachers are not so good. Practical learning could have been better but overall, the course covers every major part of Amrita school of biotechnology .

Placements were decent. Some people got placed while the others are still giving interviews. The pay package isn't that great, and research opportunities are fewer. Sales and marketing jobs are abundant, although a small percentage did get research jobs. But after master's, people usually move abroad to study further.

In my college, most of the students preferred B.Sc. courses. Mostly, they preferred computers. The highest package is 4.5 LPA, the lowest package is 1.8 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. This year, Heterodrug and Unschool companies are recruiting some students at our college. IBM offered an internship. My college offers an artificial intelligence course in degree. Everything is good in my college but fees are high and faculty teaching is average.
