Campus is in amazing environment which is well facilitated with the necessary facilities. There is a recreational room, and sports ground, auditorium, seminar halls, computer labs, finance labs, medical emergency facilities, video conferencing facilities, etc. Hostel facilities offered were very satisfactory. Single rooms were provided to every student which was facilitated with the best facilities.

HRM specialisation offered a wide range of diversity and this was the reason why I chose this. Most of them have a completed their studies at top institutes like IIMs and IITs. The institute is an modern techniques of teaching to enhance learning for its students. The concepts are updated yearly based on the changing trends, and requirements in the industry. Faculty members are friendly and helpful.

In this college Around as 50 companies from different domains visited for placements. Some of the famous recruiters were Amazon, Flipkart, Uber, HUL, and Nestle. The highest salary package was 40 LPA- 35LPA and the average salary package was 23 LPA.

Our college library is one of the most extensively stocked libraries and has almost every book an student might need. There a multitude of premium subscriptions for students like HBR, Economic Times, etc. Each classroom is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi and charging points. There are multiple study rooms available for students. XLRI also has a fully equipped gymnasium, football field, and volleyball court. Each student gets a single room with a wardrobe, a bed, a table, and a chair. There is segregation, and boys are not allowed inside the girls' hostel and vice-versa.

The course is curriculum is up-to-date with the college and identifying industry needs and provides all subjects and training to make students industry-ready. In almost every class, you would listen to a professor mentioning how they are teaching would be of use to us once we start our summer internships and even on our full-time job.

Placements are in our college are amongst the best in the nation. Top recruiting companies are Brain, McKinsey, Accenture, Strategy, and FMCGs like P&G, HUL, and Mondelez. Top IT recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, and Google. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 23 LPA - 26 LPA. Placement is good in our college.

The college does not have a good boys hostel and it has three girls hostels of its own they have tie ups with private hostels there are hostel which offer you a room at 80,000-90,000 to hostels where the price is 2,75,000 the food is good in my hostel I would recommend a first year student to stay in a hostel for a year then shift to a flat. In the course curriculum, the first year covers courses from all domains of marketing, finance, supply chain and operations, and human resources. The faculty is highly qualified and regularly publishes research papers. Exams are on time after every trimester and if studied seriously are not that much difficult to pass the exam.

The chance for placement begins in the fifth trimester for the students and in addition to the replacement offer. The college also has a gym, a canteen with delicious food, and with proper hygiene. WiFi is there but not for students. Classrooms are well-maintained with new furniture, though some classrooms are empty and therefore not maintained. There is no hostel and food facilities and no sports facilities and we have weekends classes too.

IIT KGP has great infrastructure with all facilities; my department has AC classrooms with modern projectors to teach. Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus, and at the same time, library facilities are also good. We have a central library that has all the useful books. Free bus and medical services are provided inside the campus. The hostel provides all required facilities, including sports, proper electricity supply, furniture, etc. But mess food is below average.

All teachers are helpful; you approach them first and are well qualified. A few teachers are involved in some research. They thought so as well. Yes, the curriculum is relevant for my industry but a little modification is required. Marking is relatively new, so their are no fixed passing criteria. Their are two major exams in a semester, mid-semester and end-semester. Some courses are very tough and some are medium. Overall, the semester is above average.
Placements
The placement scenario at IIT Kharagpur for the previously placed batch looked very promising. In the 2023–24 placement season, a total of 1277 students were placed. In electrical engineering, the highest package offered was around 66 LPA, and the average package was approximately 23.3 LPA.
