College Infrastructure
Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer, has played a big role in my education.The campus has the basics classrooms, labs, and a library but there’s definitely room to make things better. Updating the facilities and keeping them well-maintained would make the university a nicer place to study.
Academics
I did my bachelor’s degree in science here and have also done with a master’s degree in sociology. The teachers are knowledgeable, and the courses are well laid out, but I think adding more practical experiences like workshops and real-life projects would help us get ready for our careers .
Placements
When it comes to placements, the university could improve. The placement cell should try harder to connect with companies so that students have better job opportunities after graduation. Right now, many of us have to find jobs on our own, which can be a bit challenging.
Campus Life
The campus life at MDSU is lively, with different cultural and sports events happening throughout the year. However, it would be nice if the campus had more modern amenities like better sports facilities, places to hang out, and improved food options.

Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University has good teachers and a lively campus, but it needs better buildings, more placements, and updated facilities.

The college has all the infrastructure, facilities and equipment. It is an autonomous college. The classrooms and libraries are very good in space and design. They all are well-maintained. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.

The course I was enrolled in was B. Tech in Electronics and Design Engineering as I was passionate about the course and wanted to explore the field of study. The curriculum was updated and included all the developments that time. It made me industry ready.
Placements
The placements were good there, as almost 80% of the students get placed there. The highest package was around 14 lacs, which went to the hands of a CS student, and the average was around 6-7 lacs. The placement process was easy and pleasant to me. The college was very supportive as well.

This course is the best to get a job in this corporate world. Semester exams are moderate, and the required percentage to pass is 40%.

60% placements are available in our college. The highest package offered was 3.51 Lacs per annum. Some of the top recruiting companies in our college are TCS, Accenture, Wipro and more. Last year, 80% of students got internships from this course.

The college offers basic facilities and infrastructure. The courses are fairly average, and while each department has Wi-Fi, it's restricted to faculty use. Hostel facilities are below standard, and the food quality in both the mess and canteen leaves much to be desired. Additionally, sports and games are seldom organized on campus.

Some teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, though the overall quality of teaching is average. The course, however, doesn't adequately prepare students for the industry. JNTUH needs to update the curriculum to make it more relevant. The semester exams can be somewhat challenging, with a pass rate of about 60 to 70%.

The CSM course is a relatively new branch, with the first graduating class set for 2024. The average package offered for this course ranges from INR 2 to 6 LPA. The percentage of students securing internships is quite low. The roles offered in this course are primarily focused on AI and ML.

There are various sports facilities and playgrounds for playing cricket, volleyball other indoor games like carrom, chess, badminton, etc. are also provided. Auditorium is well-equipped with speakers and projectors where all events and fests are conducted and has a seating capacity of 500.

All the Professores are very qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is soo good. The pass percentage is 35 out of 100. Exams are subject-based and the level of hardness depends on the person who listens and does everything and could score good marks.

The highest salary package offered is 6.1 LPA and the average salary package is 3.45 LPA. Placement cell handles pre-placement internship responsibilities. Placement star's in 3rd and 4th-semester. College provide swayam certification course which helps to improve our skills. College helps and supports its students in their off-campus placements.

The highest package in this academic year was 57 LPA, according to the website, whereas the average package was 7.5 LPA. There were many companies that came for recruitment like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, etc. In my course, many seniors are offered core jobs in various electronic industries.

More than 15 publications of paper are available in the library. Wi-Fi facility is good. The hostel facility available for both boys and girls is good. Food served to the students is healthy. Teachers are good. Most of the teachers who come are visiting faculty, so sometimes you will be like wow and sometimes you will fall asleep in the classes. You need to work more yourself. The curriculum is relevant but again you have to work on your own. You have to take initiatives on your own and just utilise whatever resources you have to enhance your skills.

In our course, there were around 50 seats. It was quite hard for me to crack 3 rounds and get into IIMC. Due to corona, we did not receive a good placement drive, but there were certain media houses, where some of us got placed. Even after final results, our college is still ensuring placements for students. If you are an IIMC student, then you can have the best experience in nearby JNU, just a gate away. IIMC is the mecca of journalism, and every possible media exposure is provided to students along with destination visits.

English Journalism is one of the flagship course of IIMC and here you can have wide-ranging contacts in the media as well as various other fields. Exposure is there but eventually, it will be your capability that will take you forward.

Although I don’t reside in the hostel, my friends who do say that the rooms are comfortable and the food is good.

In the second year and beyond, the subjects become more professional, while the first year mainly covers material from 11th and 12th grades. Each academic year includes two semester exams and three class tests per semester. These class tests are valuable for preparing for the main exams and maintaining good internal marks. The knowledge gained from classroom teaching is usually sufficient to achieve a good grade, as the exams are moderately challenging. Only about three or four students typically fail.

In 2024, the highest package offered was 52 LPA, with the average package standing at 7.5 LPA. To be eligible for campus placements, students need to maintain a CGPA of 8 or higher. Over 835 companies visited for campus recruitment, including major firms like TCS, Mahindra, Wipro, and Samsung. The college has a strong track record for job placements.

Teachers are very supportive. Good medical facility, has its own hospital in campus itself. There are around 5-6 canteen in campus, only vegetarian. Sports- horse riding ground, cricket stadium, flying area, basketball court, badminton court, tennis court, indoor games area, shooting range, swimming pool, football ground, and many more.

Teachers are very helpful, supportive, knowledgeable, kind and caring Whatever I say is not enough infact teachers are beyond all the appreciating words. They are just amazing they always let you feel Like home away from home. Course- we use to have 5-6 subject per semester which is around 45-48 subject in four years. Which is enough for learning whole chemical engineering. Semester exam level is not much difficult ( it's just if you are focusing in class then you can gain 90+% easily). Every semester around 95% students get passed without any back.

In this pandemic when not much hiring was taking place Banasthali provided a great opportunities for their students around 90% students are placed in this pandemic era as well. Top recruitment company are- Line group, Aditya Birla group, DXC Technology, etc. As per internship students get a chance to many big institutions, organisation like CSIR NCL PUNE, IIP DEHRADUN, Farelabs, IIT-BHU, IIT-D, and many more. Role offered is of chemical engineer.

You will be in love with the life at Banasthali. It has 850+ acre campus with almost all the facilities. It is the world's second the largest fully residential women University. It has the copy of original preamble of India. The annual fest of Banasthali is named as Apaji fest, it is a 3 day fest. Campus has proper security and girls are safe in campus. There are many other Certificate Diploma Courses also available.
