I am studying btech because I want to build my career. The quality of teaching method is very good and the classes held regularly, on time always. The curriculum is up to date and it is on the college official website as well.
Placements
The placements are very good. There are many companies that come for the placements.Most students who sit for placements get placed into good companies.The highest package offered is 20LPA in cse branch.

The quality of placements at IGIT,SARANG Iis very good minimum 80% to 90% students get placements and internships in our college ,companies like TCS, Tata, Adani, Infosys, etc are recruiting ffrom our college, highest package is above 7 LPA to 8 LPA, highest package offered for IT sectors and also for core branches. Yes our college is supportive to us students.

The infrastructure I would say is impressive,you would never get bored spending all of your day there. Good WiFi facility,well maintained laboratory and Workshops, smart welfare cell,etc.There are 2 big grounds for sports activities along with a ground for hosting events and functions.

I am currently pursuing mechanical engineering as a 4th year student.The teachers are well qualified and helpfull,the syllabus course and curriculum is also relevant to present needs which makes us job ready.

Speaking about academics, it is good and there are a lot of staff with more than 10 years of experience. There are a lot of ways to develop our skills and the college keeps its curriculum updated as per the new syllabus.

Quality of placements at bachelor's level is quite good. Around 80% of the students get placed. Rest of the students prefer higher studies and competitive exams and prefer to go abroad. They guide us and help us.

Sarang is a quiet and peaceful place situated some 10 kms from Talcher city. It is well connected to Bhubaneswar and Talcher by road while the nearest railway station is 7 kms away. The teachers and staff are quite supportive and approachable. The college has its own Ambulance to handle medical emergencies.

Everything was fine. The building itself is pretty old styled. Staff over there is good and helpful. They help and guide students all the time. There are some key points missing over there. There are no washrooms available and no drinking water facility available.

I studied Bcom from SOL. Never got any classes or anything although the study material itself is quite helpful. It's enough to pass the exam and gain knowledge. Curriculum, I think is not so up to date as the Education system has changed a lot. The subjects I studied there were not as useful as I thought.

They don't provide any kind of placements. It's a School of Open learning. They just provide study material and provide you a valid degree at the end of course. An Affiliated degree is what they provide. They don't provide any kind of placements
