The campus is beautiful with plenty of green spaces and fully air-conditioned buildings. The library is a great place to sit and study. However, the hostel rooms feel luxurious single room. The mess food gets boring quickly.
The professors are highly qualified and use real corporate case studies to teach us. But the trimester system is incredibly fast-paced. We are always stressed out by rushed exams and endless back to back assignments.
The batch is huge, so competition is tough. Good companies like ICICI bank and BNY come. , but most average students get normal packages of 7-8 LPA . You will get a job for sure, but getting in a top tire role is very hard.
Life here is fun with fests and many club events. You meet people from everywhere. But strict hostel timings for both boys and girls are very annoying. Also hanging out in the patia are quickly finishes a student’s budget.
The campus environment is peaceful and close to nature. The campus has good greener which creates a refreshing atmosphere and provides a favourable environment for studies. there is no shortage of facilities all the necessary resources are available.
The faculty is very good and explains all topics clearly from time to time. They do not focus only on theoretical learning but also teach in a practical way which helps students improve their practical and professional knowledge.
Good companies are provided for placements and a good package is also offered which helps students get better career opportunities in the future It also inspires their friends and other students and helps in building a bright future.
Campus life is good and the environment is calm and connected with nature which helps students feel close to nature. This provides a positive and pleasant experience. The atmosphere is suitable for both studies and other activities.
Overall the college provides a good learning environment.
BIT's campus sits in a dense urban pocket, so don't expect vast green lawns or palatial buildings. What you do get is a reasonably well-maintained setup. The institute supports students through a library, auditorium, seminar and conference halls, guest houses, internet and Wi-Fi, hostels, and a canteen.
The proof is in the rankings. In 2025, BIT students secured 29 university ranks under VTU — a number that speaks loudly about academic seriousness. BIT has been rated AAAA in Engineering by Careers360 and ranked 4th in Bangalore by The Week, placing it firmly among the city's top-tier engineering colleges.
The highest package during the 2025 placement season touched ₹58 LPA, with an average package of ₹10 LPA. Top recruiters include Boeing, Dell, Amazon, NVIDIA, IBM, Oracle, PhonePe, Cognizant, Accenture, and CGI — a roster that would make any engineering student's pulse quicken.
I am studying for a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Batch of 2024-2028). The faculty here has a lot of experience and is supportive. The curriculum offers strong practical knowledge, and students gain great industry exposure by working on many projects provided by the department.
Navigating a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at this campus involves engaging with a structured, University-aligned academic schedule. The faculty members are accessible, polite, and maintain open communication channels for academic troubleshooting. The teaching quality varies; specific senior professors excel at breaking down complex programming concepts, whereas other instructors focus strictly on conventional syllabus coverage. The academic portal and faculty advisors ensure that students are kept well-informed regarding recent curriculum updates driven by the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) guidelines, especially concerning the growing relevance of modern AI tools in core software workflows
From a third-year engineering standpoint, navigating campus placements requires balancing university parameters with external professional upskilling. While the regional tech market is undergoing a conservative hiring phase, direct on-campus recruitment drives are consistently organized by the placement wing to provide essential corporate gateways. The corporate selection filters place a heavy premium on academic consistency, using a student's ongoing CGPA as a mandatory baseline for screening eligibility. While the absolute highest commercial packages—reaching up to 25 LPA—are predominantly driven by the postgraduate management and computer application wings (MBA/MCA), engineering aspirants can secure steady entry-level tracks provided they independently supplement their theoretical coursework with active hands-on coding skills.
Campus Life & Safety Measures The day-to-day campus environment is defined by its high degree of discipline and comprehensive safety protocols. Situated securely directly on the highway, the campus features highly vigilant gate checkpoints, security personnel, and immediate access to nearby emergency healthcare facilities. The administration maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy against internal student altercations or rowdy behavior; any disciplinary breach results in swift administrative penalties, including temporary campus suspensions. On the recreational front, the campus balances its strict academic focus by organizing highly coordinated cultural events, including multi-tier dance showcases and farewell galas, alongside an active sports department that manages robust cricket and basketball setups for inter-collegiate tournaments.
The college delivers a highly clean, disciplined, and digitally sound environment equipped with interactive smart classrooms and operational computer labs. It provides a balanced, affordable engineering degree, though students must independently refine their technical skill sets to optimize career outcomes. our classrooms are okayishh (no ac though) library is good, campus amenities are also average like canteen etc....overall vibe is nice, looks good basically, college infrastructure is decent (improvement required)
The political science faculty is really good, approachable - professors are knowledgeable and explain concepts clearly, overall a good place to study pol sci..open to discussions and often encourages debates which helps in building perspectives
I'm studying pol sci here, studies and faculty are good but don't expect any placements in pol sci, you'll have to plan your career on your own so keep that in mind but the academic environment and peer group make it a good place if you're serious about the subject
campus life is pretty active, lots of societies, and events happening throughout the year. Crowd is diverse and you get good exposure. Canteen and hangout spots are decent, great experience overall, it will be enjoyable if you take part otherwise its mostly classes to home/pg, totally depends on how involved you get
The campus is green and beautiful. Classrooms have central AC and great projectors . The library is massive with endless books and quite study spots. Labs and wifi are fast , making daily students life very comfortable here.
Teachers are helpful and qualified, though some follow slide presentations methods. The curriculum covers new business trends and case studies, but it feels heavily focused on exams rather than hands on industry exposure.
Placements are decent but mostly average for BBA grads . A lot of mass recruiters visit , offering packages around 3-4 LPA . If you want high paying profiles, you really have to put in extra self effort outside campus.
Life here is never boring. There are endless fests , cultural clubs , and societies to join. The crowd i diverse , coming from all over india and out side India. You will get amazing exposure, make it great friends and enjoy a lively campus environment.
Compared to other departments, the B.Tech building is less maintained and requires infrastructure upgrades. However, classrooms are functional and the academic environment remains supportive. that all
Compared to other departments, the B.Tech building is less maintained and needs better infrastructure development. Facilities are adequate, but improvements in maintenance and modernization would enhance the student experience.
The college provides limited opportunities compared to some other institutions. However, students who are skilled, dedicated, and proactive can still achieve excellent placements through consistent effort and preparation.
Campus life is not very vibrant, with limited recreational activities and events. However, the college maintains a strong academic focus, making it suitable for students who prioritize studies.
The good thing is there are no ragging problem in my college.. have farewell party Diwali functions Fresher party
My college's infrastructure is quite good, the evening block is constructed recently so it's quite clean and maintained. Also my college have trees and many greenery, so it looks very lively. Overall it's good.
I'm studying bcom hons to gain knowledge in commerce to pursue acca with it . I think my curriculum contains all the recent developments in the field. But I don't think it makes me job ready . Bcom doesn't get placements.
The placement quality in my college is very poor , the companies generally don't hier students on the basis of their degree , they need skills and also a ai ready students which means someone with not only degrees.
My college campuse according to me is good , it's best feature obviously is my college friends and the worst part is exams in summers . My college also have societies for extra curricular activities.
Overall it's an average college. The academics , the teachers and the staff are quite good. And I think I'll recommend this college because of its amazing societies activities, and the fun within.
The campus is beautiful . Classrooms have good AC and smart boards . Labs are modern with fast PCs , though a few lag. The library is huge and great for study . WI-FI is fast in blocks but weak outside.
The syllabus covers java and python . Teachers have PhDs and help if you ask . However , they rely too much on slides . The biggest issue is the strict 75% attendance rule , leaving little time for self - study.
Placements are okay here. Mass IT companies visit , but they prefer B.Tech students .B.Sc. students mostly get entry -level support roles . You can get a 3-4 LPA package if your coding skills are strong.
Life in our campus is fun. There are many coding and cultural clubs . The students crowd is very friendly . The only downsides are strict rules about uniforms are gate timing , and the hostel mess food is just average.
This college has good infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms and proper facilities. Classrooms are equipped with AC and smart boards which make learning comfortable. The labs are also well-equipped with necessary instruments and updated systems. The library has a good collection of books for students. Overall, the campus environment is clean and suitable for studies, and I would recommend this college.
The academic environment of the college is quite good and supportive for students. Teachers are well-qualified and explain concepts clearly. The syllabus is covered on time, and regular assignments and tests help in better understanding. Faculty members are helpful and always ready to solve doubts. Overall, the academic quality of the college is satisfactory and helps students in building a strong foundation.
The placement opportunities in the college are average but improving year by year. Some good companies visit the campus and offer decent packages to students. The college also provides training sessions, aptitude classes, and interview preparation to help students get placed. However, students need to put in their own efforts to achieve better opportunities. Overall, placements are satisfactory.
"I had a very positive experience overall. The environment was professional, supportive, and well-organized. I learned many new skills and gained valuable practical knowledge during my time there. The team members were cooperative, friendly, and always willing to help whenever needed. The work culture encouraged learning, teamwork, and personal growth. I appreciated the opportunity to work on real tasks and improve my communication, problem-solving, and technical abilities. My academic journey has been a valuable learning experience that has helped me develop knowledge, discipline, and confidence. Throughout my studies, I have consistently worked to improve my understanding of different subjects and strengthen my problem-solving abilities. I actively participate in classroom discussions, complete assignments on time, and maintain a positive attitude toward learning. Over the years, I have developed good communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a habit of continuous self-improvement.
The placement process at our college provides students with valuable opportunities to begin their professional careers. The placement cell actively works to connect students with companies from various industries and organizes recruitment drives, career guidance sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews, and resume-building workshops. These activities help students improve their technical knowledge, communication skills, and confidence before appearing for interviews.
Campus life is vibrant, engaging, and provides students with a balanced mix of academics and extracurricular activities. The college offers a friendly and supportive environment where students can learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships.
Overall, my experience at the college has been positive and rewarding. The institution provides a good academic environment, supportive faculty, decent infrastructure, and various opportunities for skill development. Students are encouraged to participate in technical, cultural, and sports activities, which contribute to their overall growth.
The college is very very bad. The buildings are very old. They not done paintinh ro the buildings. The labs does kit have good machines and equipments. The bee lab machines are noit working properly only.
The academics of thus college is not at all good. Theere are no study materials and they have benn not nice faculty. The floor incharges are very struct and not at all good and they scould students very much.
The placements are are very less for our college. Many of the stydents are unemployed. No comlanies visit our college and there is no good classes for placemnet training. There are internship offers and there are no jobs for mainly our branch.
The college infrastructure is very nice. The blocks are very good and the the canteen food is very nice. The readers have very good quality of food and the health center has everything tablets and bandages.
The college academics are average the portion is not told correctly. They don't say 5th unit they just give important questions and they tell us to study them. But few teachers tell and explain and clarify doubts nice only.
The placements in our college is good. Companies like Google and amazon give internship offers to the computer branches and they don't give more opportunities to the students of other branches.average salary package is 5lpa.
The college infrastructure is decent overall. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and whiteboards, which makes it easier to follow lectures. The library has a reasonable collection of books and some online resources, though it could be expanded. Labs are functional and most of the equipment works fine, though a few instruments are a bit outdated. The hostel facilities are average - rooms are clean enough and the food in the mess is okay, not great but manageable. WiFi connectivity is available on campus but can be inconsistent at times, especially in certain buildings. The sports facilities include a basic gym and outdoor courts. Overall, the infrastructure meets basic needs but there is definitely room for improvement in several areas.
I am pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, which I chose because of its wide scope in various industries. The quality of teaching is mixed - some faculty members are quite knowledgeable and make the subject engaging, while others tend to stick to textbooks without much practical application. The curriculum covers most of the fundamental topics and is somewhat updated, though a few subjects feel a little behind current industry trends. Guest lectures and workshops are organized occasionally which help bridge the gap between academics and industry. The college encourages participation in technical events and competitions. Exams are conducted fairly and the grading system is transparent. Overall, the academic experience is moderate and there is scope for students who are self-motivated to learn more through additional resources.
The placement scenario at this college is somewhat average compared to top-tier colleges. A good portion of students from CSE and ECE branches manage to get placed, but the percentage varies year by year. The highest package offered was around 8-10 LPA from a few software companies, while the average package tends to be in the range of 3.5 to 5 LPA. Core ECE companies do visit the campus but the numbers are limited. The training and placement cell does make efforts to invite companies and conduct pre-placement training sessions. However, many students feel that the college could do more to attract bigger companies. Students who work hard and build their own skills through internships and certifications tend to get better opportunities. Overall, placements are okay but not exceptional.
The campus life at this college is fairly active with a mix of academic and extracurricular activities. The college organizes an annual technical and cultural fest which students look forward to. There are various clubs and student associations for activities like coding, music, drama, and sports, though participation levels vary. The campus is spread over a reasonable area with a pleasant environment. The location is accessible by public transport and is considered safe. The student community is generally friendly and supportive. Faculty members are approachable outside of class hours. The canteen food is average and could be improved. The support staff is cooperative. Overall, campus life offers a balanced experience and students can find activities to engage with beyond just academics if they take the initiative.
Overall, Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology is a decent college for students who want to pursue engineering in Hyderabad. It has its strengths and areas that need improvement. Students who are proactive and make use of available opportunities tend to have a good experience. The college is continuously working on improving its facilities and academic standards. It may not be among the top colleges in the country but it provides a reasonably good environment for learning.
The overall college infrastructure is good. The campus is very spacious and contains greenery. It has grounds, basketball courts, lecture halls, reading rooms with air-conditioning, canteen and cafes for students. Wi-Fi is available for students to use. The only thing is your network doesn't work till you are in the college.
The Teachers are good and helpful. Library is available for students with books related to their academic courses. Assignments and Internal assessments are taken on the given dates. It helps students to be ready for their end semester exams.
The placement are okay. You have to apply for off-campus interships as well. The salary package can be from low to average packages depending upon the experience and understanding of the students. Not the best in placement opportunities.
The campus has basketball courts, canteens and cafes. The students can engage in events, fests and sports actively. Cultural events takes place and teachers encourage students to take participation in such events.
The infrastructure is good enough, the campus is very quite and cozy to be able to focus on your own things. There are 5 blocks in the campus that are A- block : Examination Block, B- Block : Engineering Workshop Block; C- Block: Administrative block; D- Block: Civ/Mech Block and E- Block : Humanities and Sciences Block. There’s also an N and S block that are CSE & EEE and IT & AI Block. There is a Cafeteria having the capacity of atleast 700 students. There is also another shop called Readers that has stationery, Snacks, etc. There are student hostels as well and the faculty is fine too.
They are very strict and firm regarding academics and foxus on it a lot. They care a lot about attendance and regukar performance. CSE, EVE, EEE departments are more strict. IT Departments are more chill.
Top placements are around 20L amd average os probably around 5-7L. The quality keeps on increasing every year though. Most of the placements depend kn the type pf student who’s putting in the work and many got them from outside too.
100% worth it. Found so many great people and so many connections. Peak ngl.
your college experience depends on you. Not on other factors.
The college has good infrastructure. Tere are many beautiful places to visit in our college. Each and every place is maintained neat and tight. The walk way is full of trees and plants and tey are watered daily.
I would say the academics are average. Few teachers explain subject nicely ancye does not know how to teach only. They just mugup and come to college. They won't even clarify doubts. Our electrical sir teaches nicely.
Te placements ratio is average. The compare to other branches our placenments are in little bit worst position. Other branches get nice internship offers mainly for core but we won't receive any jobs and internships.
Wonderful experience The university has a beautiful well established campus that offers the perfect and well maintained classrooms, library and other amenities guarantee smooth educational experience.
the students in my college are encouraged to get a solid grasp on subjects by providing variety of educational settings. The professors of my college is very committed in providing academic excellence and are very encouraging.
The placement cell provides various internships opportunities through recruitment, career development programs. Students are given important professional chances to build their carrer. Also , there are board infinity sessions to train us for interviews
My campus life is exciting and interesting providing the ideal balance in academic engagement and other activities. There is a welcoming environment around my campus.
No

Placement opportunities are moderate students are encouraged to pursue higher studies and internships overall the placement process is satisfactory and improving over time the college provides guidance regarding career options and skills development and tgere are couses such as digital marketing data analysis etc to improve te overall growth
The campus life is enjoyable and peaceful they provides a clean campus with 24/7 cctv availability and guards are active 24/7 on each corner of the college for safety purposes it’s best not to need to he worried about it and the atmosphere is also soo peaceful without any disturbance
Actually it doesn't have that much of facilities as washroom are in bad condition and many students just hold it and don't go there , classes are not that bad but not the best too so i may say it's average really
Study is actually good here as teacher teach stuff and it's understandable and also they seem good, but the curriculum i would say won't make you job ready as i study in bcom and it's average as it's ofc bcom
I actually don't have experience in placement but my seniors say there is no placement from this college, but i did see 2 people on LinkedIn and they seem to have job, so maybe but mostly not , I'll let you know if placement are there
I don't think there is campus life , maybe not for me and for others but I just never experienced it myself, did see students take part in dance which wasn't shown to us but they did do sports once and that seem cool
If you want a good college life and just want to do college and get job , idk if it's for you ,but teacher are nice and if you're doing something else too then i would recomend
