Review about NIT ROURKELA
College Infrastructure
The college have all the necessary equipments and facilities. We have LAN port in our college. The campus area covers 265 hectares with full of greenery. The living space is even good and the hygeine of the food is well maintained.
Academics
I'm pursuing Btech in NIT ROURKELA . Our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. We are allowed to choose electives in 2nd year which is helpful to know more about our field of interest.
Placements
The placements here are quite good. The highest package offered was around 60 lacs. Talking about the respective branches, computer science department always tops the list. The placements for other branches is also equally good.
Campus Life
The campus area is quite large with full of greenery. It has around 9 hostels including 7 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel. The college provides us with the amazing clubs which you can choose as per your field of interest.
My experience is very average with this college.
College Infrastructure
It has a big campus backgrounds classes but it do not have smart boards and other services for the students . Wi-Fi is only available in computer lab which is not sometime accessible for everyone. It has a library. It has a gym and many other gaming fields, two basketball fields and canteen and hostel for girls with Wi-Fi. It has a clean hygienic campus.
Academics
As I am student of chemistry student. I got all the the teachers who have PHD they all are well qualified for the jobs. As they are common teachers whose they are well qualified some of them has a very unique way of teaching and that's good side of this college. And the use of lapse are very frequent and they use Labs to teachers more practically. Day focus on new things happening and teach us accordingly with new curriculum.
Placements
This is the boss side of this college because they do not have any placement cell they only place BCA and BBA students aur sometime the only provide them temporary internships and no regular jobs. You cannot reply on this college for job.
Campus Life
Our campus has a big campus but it is not managed properly buildings are spread here and there there is no proper utilisation of grounds. Teachers and support staff do their work properly. it's location is safe it's very close to market and if something happen it has easy access to hospital. Overall provide a good campus life and safe environment.

Well equipled libraries and laboratories. Here classrooms are well decorated and provide us good environment for studying teachers are good and supportive. Nir rourkela is one of indias top institute not in providing higher and quality of education not only in education also it has a large pracement. More than 90 percent students gets placed every years and rest opt for higher studies. The students who got placed they receive a good handsome pakages with average 12 lacks per annum amd highest pakages of more than 40 lacks per annum

Nit rourkela ha vast campus located in the middile of treees and hills it is more than 600 acers. Living here is very much comfortable. Here there are large play grounds where we can play each and every sports and ut also has a swimming pool. Teachers and staffs are here vely much helpful and supportive they are always ready to help us.

we havent been on campus yet ....but the reviews given by the seniors were pretty good..there are 80+clubs for different fields ...it has a very active social life wherein all festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm and participation..

I'am studying master of arts in english in Dr. Harisingh Gour University. The quality of teaching in my department is excellent. Classes are regular and the professors are having a good knowledge of their specific fields.

There is no placement in the english department of Dr. Harisingh Gour University. There are no provisions made for the placement of students in this department as of now. But there is placements in the other departments.

The quality of placement at the college is not so good as only few companies come for campus placement and about 40-50% of the candidates are selected with average salary of 3-4 lakh per annum and highest salary offered is 9-11 lakh per annum.

Our college infrastructure is quite good and interesting. Spacious and ventilated classroom. A well equipped library. Digital classroom with smart technology. A canteen , mess facilities , wifi and medical facilities.

The curriculum was up-to-date and the course material was well structured and quality. The teachers had a unique approach to teaching and ensured that each student in the class was well-versed in the topic. The flow of exchange of knowledge was something you look for in every classroom teaching paradigm.

Quality of placements in the college is good depending upon the students percentage and their performances in the practical examinations , the average salary is 20,000 and the process is done through the interview it is easy and pleasant one.
