College Infrastructure
This university is packed with combination of good infrastructure, facilities in each department and with good equipment in the labs. We have AC classrooms with smart boards and fans and with good ventilation for sunlight and fresh air. we have a central library in which all the books are available. We also have a 3 grounds for playing. The hostel is available for both the girls and boys within the campus. We have wifi which can be accessed by all the students registration number with good food.
Academics
I am pursuing my btech in the filed of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Because its the most hottest field in the developing of technology in the present generation. And there is also a great scope of job offers in the filed. Our university updates the curriculum with new topics and it also covers the outside topics. Students are expected to work on the programming and developing rather than only focusing on studying.
Placements
90% of the students easily gets placement offers from their 3rd year 2nd semister itself. TCS is the major company which takes in the most of the students. The highest salary in the last year is 18 lakhs per annum. University also allows students to get internship outside the country. last year few students went to korea for internship.
Campus Life
campus life is also good. We can make many friends. There is no sign of ragging in the campus. Teachers communicate friendly towards students and help them to solve their problems. they supports students to participate in events held inside and outside the campus. There will be many fests which are managed by students with the help of faculty. Their are several student bodies in the college where students can join anyone and actively participate.

our university is under developing phase. currently there is not proper class rooms but the construction works are going on. in classrooms there is wifi available and every classrooms and the smart boards. The main thing is that daily the housekeeping teams cleans the university premises, washrooms and classes.the food in the canteen also good and hygenic.but they are providing less varieties of dishes.

Primarly the 50% of the subjects are related with management and the are including skill courses. And weely club activities ,mentoring hours are included in the periods. And weekly presentations and assignments of particular is topics conducted.

The quality of placement cell is power because the offers of internships and job are very less.The students are really interested in the placements .But the salary packages are not attractive in nature.University need to be advanced in placements .

Teachers are supportive but teachers are not available for all subjects . Library of VGU needs to be renovated soon and new computers are required to be installed . Hostel facilities are not worth money .

Curriculum is updated for BTech as per RTU guidelines but still a lot is required to be done to add new Faculty in Btech course . Regular attendance is a must and that's what amazed me . NCC is also available in college

Excellent Placement record with highest placement of 51Lpa and average placement of 7Lpa in B Tech . Teachers cooperated during Placements and that's why a lot of seniors made their mark in corporate sector

Chitkara business school is providing 100% placements. Right now not much but comparatively from other colleges, Chitkara is best among all. For interns every company offering around 15000. The procedure of placement is not much hard.

Infrastructure is good, all equipments are upto date. But poor wifi facilities, if you are opting for electrical engineering don't go for 2nd shift because they don't allow classroom to 2nd shift lol..

If you are opting for 2nd shift in electrical, dont expect good faculty at all. Mot of them are either new comers or inexperienced but there are some good faculties too and many of them are worse. You will be like there is no point attainong his/her lecture and i can do it of my own.If you wanna opt for electrical always go for 1st shift

They have intake of over 300-350 and only 80-100 people of the batch gets placed. You can imagine 30-40% of the batch gets placed. I mean if you can't guarantee placement then what's the point of this much intake are you here for making business?. An average guy like me assumes that their curriculum has something different after graduating from here i may be average at academics but i am at the top of the heap when it comes to skills. Sadly YCCE can't give you that.

The faculty is highly educated. The professors have graduated from top Indian and foreign universities. The academic curriculum is formed according to the Bar Council of India's directives. First and Second Years are taught both BBA as well as Law subjects like Contract Law, Tort Law, IPC, etc. From 3rd year onwards students have to select electives- the subjects of their choice.

The quality of placements is good. Law firms like CAM, Khaitan & Co., recruit from the university. Many students also receive Pre Placement offers as well. The office of career services which looks after internships and placements in highly supportive though, placement will only be guaranteed if the student achieves an excellent academic CGPA of 7.0/8.0 consecutively for 3 years.

I study Metallurgy and Materials Engineering. The curriculum is outdated but the professors are good teachers. They help us grasp the basics and if we are serious with academics, it is more than sufficient to be job ready in our department.
